I think that Granite might have been jealous, since the colonel wanted
to break Spirit so bad. He probably would have been the colonel's
horse. Granite would probably not be happy about that. |

I do have the WowWee Canyon playset by Hasbro and it includes a figure
of Granite. On the back they mentioned his name. I don't know if his
name is officially mentioned anywerhe else. |

I think Granite is completely loyal to the colonel, I think in the
film Spirit bashes into him when the colonel shoots Rain. He might
have just been named 'Granite' because he is really loyal to the
colonel, also because he might not have any feelings! Does anybody
else agree? |

Hooray, Granite is up ^^ Has anyone else noticed that throughout the
movie, Granite seems to be the only horse that doesn't seem to support
Spirit? All the other horses seem to be sympathetic to Spirit or to
'cheer' for him, but Granite never does |
