History- Light was born a two years after Spirit and grew up with his parents in the cimarron herd. Spirit was the first foal Light ever met, they almost shared a bond. Although Light was with both his parents his life was different... When he was only two months old his father decided to leave the cimarron herd and start his training. Light didn't know what he was training for but he went along with it and started to enjoy it because Light was training all day everyday with his dad he started to drift apart from his mother. Light wasn't effected by this he soon got used to never seeing her and didn't even feel she was even his mother. She soon disapeared one night and never returned, Light wasn't sad he didn't even care. His mother made no difference to his life so it didn't effect him and he moved on.

When Light was coming up to one years old he soon realise what all his training was for... Killing. Once Light turned one his father increased the training he would put him up against Mountain Lions and if he couldn't beat them his father would walk away and leave him not caring if he lived or died. Light soon became stronger and stronger. faster and faster. Light was the most powerful horse in the wild west even more power full than his dad.

One day when Light was 2 and finished his training his father too him to a herd, Light didn't reconise anyone in the herd or knew why he was there, he looked up to his father confused.

"Light" His father said in his deep comanding voice.Light didn't say anything but just looked towards the herd waiting for his father to continue speaking.

"That lead stallion and his guards killed your mother...I know you know no effection towards your mother but this is the last test for your training and then your free. I need you to use everything I taught you and murder every single male in that herd. Young or old." Lights father looked down at him and Light noded his head still gazing at the herd.

"I start at dust" Light said while turning and walking away. His father smiled at his wisdom and followed him back to the watering hole.

That night Light thought of a pyschopathic plan and wiped out every male in the herd without flinching or even feeling sorry till he came across twins, only one year old. One was a girl and one was a boy they where hugging each other trembling Light stomped infront of them and neighed they jumped back terrified Light stepped back and looked around to what he just did. He then realised that if he kills the foal there will be nothing left of the pride to carry on. Light quicky galloped away looking back at the twins angry at his self. Light left that night not turning backor second thinking it because he knew his father would be ashamed of him.

For a year Light travelled looking for a place, a someone, a life. He didn't know what he was looking for but he knew it would be out there somewhere, anywhere. Light would never stay in one place, always travelling. The only times he stopped was when he needed food, water or the ocasional nap but never for too long. Light almost started to feel lost in a world he knew but never seen before. So many things went through Light head every day, the only time he had peace was when he looked up to the sky at night, the stars almost kept him going. Kept him sane. One day when Light was galloping past a lake he noticed two middle aged horses getting attacked by men, Light was just going to gallop past but something stopped him, something he hadn't felt since that fateful night when he destroyed a herd. Light galloped over to the men and horses, he saw the look in the two horses eyes. They where scared. Light quickly jumped into action and scared of the men the two horses looked right at him, he reconized them. He thought about it but shook it off, there was no way it was the twins. As he was about to leave the twins led him off the oppisite way, they took him to a herd.

As Light approached the herd the horses ran ahead bringing forth a mare, the horses told her of Lights doing and she slowly shook her head and smiled at him. Light was startled by the way the whole herd where looking at him, she finally spoke up and convinced him to stay with the herd for a week and if he hated it he could leave when the week ended or stay. Light hesitated looking at the herd, he saw how fragile they where and saw how he could help. He slowly noded his head in agreement.
