Her brown and blue eyes opened and her first few moments were presious memories . Sahara's older twin was born 10 minutes earlier than her. A young colt called Aster. Sahara looked at her mother until she heard hooves coming closer. Sahara and Aster looked around their surrondings and saw they were born in the Sahara (Hense Sahara's name) A large bay with scars ovr his eye and sides came beside the mare " Dear please slow down you'll scare the little ones..." Sahara's and Aster's mother told the large stallion. The stalion looked down at the foals and smiled " My dear, they are beautiful and handsome..." Sahara stood slowly and smiled. Her brother laughed and nuzzled her before playing in the Sand. " So...What have decided to call them?" The old Stallion known as Durango asked softly. " There names will be Aster becasue your middle name is a unqiue name, and Sahara becasue she was born in the desert.." The mare smiled and nuzzled her mate....

YOUNG FILLY
It was a year later and everything was going great till the storm came.... Now 1 year old Sahara or Sandy called by her brother Aster were galloping around and mucking around like foals do in the snow. A massive blizzard came in and seperated Sahara from her parents and brother. Young Sahara walked for days upon days until a cougar attacked her making her right eye go blind. She ran for her life until a mare jumped out and chased the cougar away from the filly. The mare came back and told the filly her name was Sierra . Sierra told her to follow her. Sahara followed the mare back to the tribe and that's when she met Rain and became instant friends.

YOUNG MARE
It was a peaceful day and Rain went for a gallop and left Sahara behind. It became hours until Rain came home with a buckskin stallion. Sahara tilted her head inquizitive of the stallion. Rain walked over to her " He's a stallion and your a mare...You'll fall in love with him and you'll forget about me!!" Sahara harshly whispered to Rain. " I won't fall in love with him...I promise.." Rain nickered to her friend as she walked away. " You will..." Sahara whispered and followed her adoptive sister. To Sahara's guess she was right. Days became months and Rain had fallen in love with Spirit and pushed Sahara plus her friendship away from her. Sahara stayed alone and watched her friend be blinded by love.
One day Rain went with her mother while Spirit stayed back. Spirit saw Sahara she was skinny and had her head down. He slowly and catiously walked to her " Hi...your Sahara right? Rain's friend? Anyways...I came to tell you that I'm sorry for stealing your friend away..." Spirit lowered his head. Sahara looked at him "She's been happier with you than me..." she sniffled and Spirit nuzzled her. Rain came back and charged at Sahara . Sahara cantered a little way away. " You keep away from Spirit!!!" She snorted and neighed harshly. " You were my adpotive sister but now...that's gone because of you!!" she neighed harshly back and galloped away crying.

Weeks apon weeks Sahara galloped away from the tribe. Her life had pretty much ended for her. Until someone stood behind her and nickered " Sandra? Is that you?" Her head turn and she saw a young appaloosa stallion (packrunnerstudios.deviantart.c…) looked at her. " Who are you? What do you want? Huh? Go on kill me!! I have nothing left!! My family disappeared when I was a filly, my friend was blinded by love and kicked me out of my tribe!!" I'm practically dead anyways!! Why aren't you--" She was pulled into a hug. Her eyes widened " A-aster??" Sahara rested her head on his shoulder. " Yes...It's me..." He nickered softly. That was the day she found her brother.

Sahara followed her older brother with a little trouble. He led her back to the cimmarron herd where their mother and father were. Her brother led her back down to his family. They hugged and talked for a while until Sahara heard a familar neigh. She looked around "R-Rain?!?!" Rain heard Sahara's voice and galloped to her and pulled her into a tight hug. " Oh my god...I'm so so sorry for chasing you away like that!! Please forgive me.." Rain nickered sadly. " I'll always forgive you.."

And from that day fourth Sahara became a herd member of the Cimmarron herd...
