Name Origin: Named from being bit by a rattlesnake at a young age and lived. He is now immune to most snake bites.

Coat: Bay with brindle markings, scars; 4 on face, 2 on left flank, 4 on right shoulder.

Eye Color: Dark Brown (originally), right eye is now fogged out and blind from a cougar attack.

Likes: Adventuring to new lands, experiencing new things, sparring, being challenged, fighting cougars, climbing, protecting others in his herd

Dislikes: Snakes (due to his foalhood experience is terrified of them), high-strung horses, overly talkitive foals, letting Pegasus down (he has't so far but it's his major fear), the thought of loosing someone close to him, his scars, being half blind

Personality: Rattlesnake is a rather serious and intense stallion. Everything is crucial and must go exactly as planned or he feels he has failed his leader. He takes protecting the herd as his first and foremost job and almost nothing has importance over it. He is very brave and will jump into a battle, risking his own life, if it meant saving one of those he cares about. Thankfully he is a hardened fighter being a bachelor and fending off other stallions for so long so not much harm comes of him. It is hard for him to lighten up and comes off as very rough and uncaring. Though he isn't the kindest of stallions most of this is from years of practicing keeping his emotions to himself. He is very sensitive and defensive about his blind eye and will snap at those who approach him on that side. To him it is a display of weakness and he likes to make sure others know this dosn't limit his skills as a fighter or commander of the herd guard.

Pegasus - The leader of Snake's herd and also his trusted friend. Pegasus spared his life and welcomed him into his herd which Snake will never be thank him enough for. He was the first other horse he could actually truely trust full heartedly. He is amazingly loyal to him and would give his life for him in a heartbeat. He admires his wise ways and greatly respects him.

Ryver - A quiet mare that is also in the same herd as Snake. She was the first to joing the Legend herd with Pegasus and helped save Snake when he was in need. She is very soft spoken and intelligent. Snake seems to be extra alert and protective when she is around. 

History
 

Rattlesnake's story began like most wild horses, in the open plains in a large herd with a watchful proud father nearby. He had a rare coat mutation known as brindle and was the pride of his herd. He was not named as the horses in his herd had to earn their names and identities and where never given them at birth. He was a brave colt growing up and felt indistructable. Many thought his name would come from his warrior-like heart but none would guess how. One day the little foal stumbled upon a curious new creature, it was spiraled and made an intriguing noise. Other horses would have known to run from this venomous sake but he found it to be a new playmate. Getting to close the snake bit and injected it's venom into the small horse. His family was devastated when they found him, so sure he would die from the bite. Grown horses had succumed to the poison not to mention a few day old foal. But miraculously he made it through fairly easily and finally earned his name, Rattlesnake.

As he grew into a yearling he decided to go off on his own to explore the world, as most yung horses do. On his travels he met many other horses but never stayed with one group for long. Years went by and still he remained a loner. Thankfully his strength made it easy for him to survive on his own and fended off any rival stallion or predator. That was until he met his match. He was venturing into a land he knew was popular for cougars to raise cubs at but didn't pay it a second thought. He was weell prided in his fighting abilities and they didn't pose a threat in his mind. But he had never come across a cougar quite like the one he would that day. This cougar was like him and had only known surviving on their own for years. It was larger than normal, vicious, and highly territorial. It took no hesitation before flinging itself at Snake. The two battled for what seemed like an eternity. It could have kept going till The cat nailed Snake across his eye, blinding him. Taken off-guard he retreated up into the mountains and eventually lost the persuing cougar.

Dragging his bruised and battered body death was who he expected to greet him. But to he surprise another horse found him first, a stallion. Instinctively going into fight mode he tried to stand and attack him only to fall back to the ground. To further his confusion this stallion didn't make a move to harm or attack him. He offered him his help and after some convinceing hesitantly Snake accepted. When he asked the stallion's name he replied back 'Pegasus'.
