Dan was born in the wild and had everything, the greenest grass to the bluest skys, it had no begining and no end, they were a big, happy herd. he was the fastest in the herd, they would have races all the time, and he would win most of the time. his herd was also the herd where the black stallion came from but he left.

one day he went to the woods and met a person with a hat on he didnt trust him and ran off, later that night the same shadow of the same man was stading at the hill, dan blinked and he was gone, dan was scared and woke some of the herd up they didnt see anything and went back to sleep, dan never forgot that man and he sees him alot over time, he thinks hes trying to catch him, but he seems friendly, dan even found him patting a mare then leaving but dan didnt know what to think of him..............
