Just found out that the mods put my character Wildfire under "sparkle/unrealistic." HOW in the WORLD is she unrealistic; she's a bay overo for crying out loud! >_<

you do relize mods arn't the only ones who can tag right? theres someone trolling and puting the wrong tag on alot of character before the owners can get to them i'v corrected a fue but with 72 pages its hard to get to them all frist . it's even harder to spot wich ones are taged wrong with unrealistic as mods can't tell who taged so theres no way to see if it was the owner or not.

you can just change it you know. you have nothing to worry about if your character is truely realistic,as i said on the news you can use photos, once i get time my characters are geting images added via links to there pages.

if your character is taged wrong and it gets changed, then it will be changed one more time if you change it then then you get a message (most likely from me) explaning why your character is being given the tag change and given a chance to provide (if not on the bio) photos to prove it,i don't know what to do after that but it hasn't happened yet and iv only had to change about 6 wrong tags that where pointed out to me and one i found (none of your characters )

if you don't want your characters tag wrong tag them your self before the troll gets to them if the troll gets to them edit them ,you shouldn't blame a site for a troll. this troll did some of mine last night lanus was hit with a bad tag i just edited

i honestley don't get why people are making a big deal about the tag so your characters unrealsitic who cares,i know alot of people want must sees so ill use that now, if you do want a must-see your more likley to get one with a unrealistic taged correctley then one taged as realistic

Honestly, I think I just overreacted a little. I am not flaming any mods, or anyone else. And though I get a little upset about trolls tagging a few of my characters as 'unrealistic', (normal for me, since my temper is spiked easily,) at least I can change it. (:

I honestly fon't see why everyone gets so upset. Sparkle isn't even the correct term - I would consider proposing a change in it to just "Unrecognized" or "Unrealistic," because sure, a black horse with a light mane(I.e., my Flawed Design) idn'y real, but do what? It doesn't really have to be so long as it's logical. Someone tagged one if my characters - Hotspur, actually! - unrealistic. I could see where they were coming from though they failed to look up Chocolate palominos, since I noted they exist, but I shrugged it off and retagged him because I guess I'm more chill than many people xD

*sighs* why do you immediatly have to blame the mods? This problem with the tag popped out recently, since before you could choose while making the character if it was realistic or not now, as Blaze said, it poppes out AFTER you've made the character and so ANYONE that comes by your page can change it, of course it doesn't mean that person will choose the right option. Seesh... thanks Blaze, Troll and Beth for clearing that out. Someone needs to understand that we mods are not monsters >> I don't see why the first ones to be blamed are us!

The same thing happened to me: someone marked Nightmare as 'Unrealistic'. At first I was really hurt and quite angry, thinking that the mods had tagged her as a sparkle horse without even consulting me. But when I spoke to Blazetail she kindly explained that if you haven't tagged the character whilst you were making it, the first person that goes on your character page can choose what tag it is, so someone else had done it. But if you modify your character yo can re-choose the tag at the bottom of the editing page. Knowing that it wasn't the mods who decided whether my character was realistic or not reassured me greatly.

Seriosuly, no need to whine about this tag because it was here for about 2 years. There were just some minor edits in characters that reseted the tag settings and require it being set again. And people are complaining about it like it's something new and unbelievably horrible. What the hell is wrong with you? And Blaze is right. Everyone can come to your characters profiles and tag them whatever they want. All you can do is to change it yourself.

I've seen a lot of characters that are 'realistic' that have the 'unrealistic' tag. I don't think it's fair, considering I either base my coat colors after a horse I knew or a coat color I saw that inspired me. Most of my characters have 'realistic' coats/patterns, so I just don't get why some are marked as 'unrealistic'.
