Spirit

The movie that moved my heart,

Despite being overshadowed by other Animated Films, I can honestly say that Spirit is top of the list on my dreamworks movies, followed closely by Shrek and Madagascar. For those who don't know, the story tells of a buckskin stallion called Spirit who finds himself captured by humans, and then gets captured by a Pinto's beauty!

The first time I ever watched this film was when it came out on DvD, I can remember the scenes that made me cry, laugh and smile. It really does move you! My first thoughts on the film as I watched it last week was about the background, it looks so realistic I could almost imagine the wind in my hair. The characters are funny and amazing. Though, the only thing that seemed to get my attention was the music.

Why the music?

Because it really does tell the story for you! If they added more speaking lines to this film, that would have practically ruined the entire movie, so the music gives us an idea of what the characters are feeling, thinking. This is a great first watch, and still brilliant after the fifth time you watch it!
