Well first lets start with balto1,Well ill only put the characters that would be in the sequals

Balto: His eye is black,brown,and the eye area, is yellow.

Jenna:er,they are the same as baltos,yet they arent.........

Now,balto 2 has some problems, Here are more than one pic,because balto 1 eyes are ok,they stayed the same troughout the film,howoever i wish i could say the same about wolf quest............

Balto: <Erm,the eyes are blue,and they dont have the yellow.

<The eyes(if you can see) are orange,With NO yellow,

<This would Be a great pic,if the nose wasnt blue,and the eyes werent blue.

<Then again,Orange eyes,no yellow,talk about Lack of animation effort *rolls eyes*

JENNA:

^Err Jennas Eyes are ORANGE!!!! What is wolf quests problems?(im not blaming the movie)this eye color stays the same

Balto 3 doesnt have any problems,so just one pic will be fine^.^

Balto:  <Now His eyes are brown,and yellow again!!WOO!

Jenna:<Her eyes are Brown again! YAY!

PHISICALY IMPOSSIBLE?

Now, lets see,baltos real eye color is Brown and Yellow,NOT blue, ANd jenna's are Brown,then why were their pups eyes BLUE? Its Impossible, or is it? Perhaps On Balto or jennas family had blue eyes? but then again, Why would MOST the pups eyes be blue? below are examples

Aniu: <it could not be here,her eyes are Yellow but could it had been baltos father....

Aleu: <Her eyes are BLUE?!

Other Pups:

^2 pups eyes are blue here, but HOW? (not counting aleu)

PIC 2: but observe, only 1 pup has blue eyes,and yes i watched this part, the one taken had brown eyes:

 so basicly only *3* pups had blue eyes,if they kept track

Wow,this is completely odd, but thats about it,

Great observations BUT! (as a few other people said, I'm sure) all husky pups in fact /do/ have blue eyes when they are born *mourns over long-dead husky/shepherd mix, Sheba*

All puppies eyes are usualy blue. My dogs was, and when he got around a year old, they changed brown. But his siblings got their brown eyes eariler.

Balto's eye stay the same in the three movies, as you can see, the change in the color palette was because of shading and of the enviromental colors which affected the eye colors, making them look white, blue and even orange, since Balto's eyes are brown, a color which is heavily misunderstood with red and orange (Just like Jenna's fur is reddish brown and misunderstood as red). As with its yellow clearspace coloring in B2 WQ it is there. If you look carefully, you can see a pale yellowish color on its clear space which is hard to spot but is conserved in the three movies.

Uh, how about you try to keep track of over a hundred frames of the same character for an hour and 30 minutes? Not so easy aye? About the eye color? Most *if not all* offspring are born with blue eyes. You also have to look at the genes in the family tree. Most likely, the animators didn't go that deep, and decided to go for the most logical colors.

I agree, however I am not a big fan of the sequels to Balto, I love hte first one to death. The quality and story line was awesome, who could compete with an awesome tru story like Balto? The second story line was all right, but the animation quality was about a B in effort, and I don't even get me started with the thrid one, the third one was a good story line, poeple truly did loose their jobs because of the new invention called air travel, but... the humor in it was so poor, nothing made me laugh really but that is probably because it was directed toward little kids. The animation was a C in effort, they really let Balto go to the dumps... in my opinion of course, alot of people probably dissagree with me, and I am totally fine by that. It is just my opinion... any who I really enjoyed this article! Good job!

Yes, the picture you say his nose is blue it is just a reflection,shading and coloring of the place he is in. (Its blue.) Most of their eyes are supposed to blue,orange,red and brown.

This isn't strange at all, and cat's response is the best I'd say. It's not lack of animation effort, and it's not that hard to color in eyes-they probably purposely did alot of those. I've heard different animators did Balto 2 so the design could change a little. Also eye color changes with different lighting. My mom's eyes are green under some amount of light and look bluish with a different amount... As for the blue-eyed pups, that is not phisically impossible. As cat also said, the eyes can be blue or brown. Many animals are also born with blue eyes-for instance, my cat gave birth to kittens with blue eyes, which later changed to greenish yellow. My brother once told me you could sometimes show no signs of a gene and pass it on to your kids who have visible signs of that gene... I've read lots of wolf/husky books...Sorry for the long comment... Good article! Improve on grammar...

I agree with cat. Most huskies have blue eyes, some even have blue and brown eyes. They all made the characters in balto 2 and 3 look like retards anyway. :D
