Publicity for Balto
The Reasons Balto isn't a classic (yet) and what you can do.

The main reason that Balto and its sequels havent become big time classics is because Universal never realized its true potential. Not enough advertising was put into the movie. The movie wasn't sold in a lot of stores. There isn't any Balto merchandise like plush toys or t-shirts. Balto needs more publicity! A lot of people don't even know that the Balto movies exist. I didn't know that there was a Balto II or a balto III until I saw them on a TV special. How are we going to find out if they make a Balto IV. Are we going to have to keep checking websites to find out. Even 'The Land Before Time' series got more publicity than Balto (and which is the better movie?) There are a few things we can do to help.
1. Contact Universal Studios- send an e-mail to someone from Universal.
2. Sign the Petition- Use the link at the bottom of every page to get to the page where you can sign the petition.
3. Spread the Word- Tell your friends, family, neighbours, classmates, teachers,etc. about the Balto movies. If they liked them tell them to come to this site and sign the petition.
There you go. Three things you can do to help the Balto series(may the be more) become a classic. Personally I would like to see a special edition DVD of Balto.

I should ask people I know if they ever heard of Balto. If not, then I
should invite them over and play it for them. Then, I should ask what
they think. Who knows? Maybe they will be fans too? And anyone can
take this idea. By the way ( and don't get me wrong, I LOVE BALTO!!!) but, The Land Before Time series wasn't bad. In fact, I grew up with that. I learned things from there and the merchandise. Like how to do math from the math game they had. So, it still deserves to be just as great as Balto. But, I guess Balto could be loved just a tiny bit more. |

We could try and get our friends to come and watch them. Or, if you have a nearby play, write a script and try to get them to use it! And I agree, I really want a Balto plush! And, they should make a Kaltag too! I actually dreamed about that or some reason. |

Oh yeah, I really want a Steele plushie! I have a stuffed husky

Yeah, about the part that a lot of people don't know about them,
alot of people I tell about all three Baltos only knew about number one and even more don't even know any of them existed. The first time I saw Balto was last summer. I was seeing a lot of it on Youtube and thought it looked interesting so I took out number one and number 3 from the library. They were so good that I got them on DVD because I wanted to get it on my computer and I even got number 2 and the first time I saw it was when I got it on DVD. It is amazing that it has been around for 13 years and the first time I saw it was a year ago. Yeah, they really need to make the franchise bigger and make more merchandise. |

I wish they did have more Balto plush, t-shirts, and all sorts of
other merchandise. But after the movie was released there was only a
limited number of plushies and other merchandise. And if the movie got
BIG there would be lots of merchandise because of it being popular. I
know its obvisous, but I just wanted to point that out. I told my best
friend at school about the petiton because we both love Balto and
Balto Source. |

Balto 4? Who said that! They might not even make Balto4?  That
person should know that movies take awile to make. They have to plan
the movie. They just made Balto3 last winter. 1 year later I dont

one week. As with balto, I think I heard of WOC on the internet
(Websites/chatrooms), or Mabey I saw it on tv as with wq, don't

old and I like LBT. I'm a bit of a pushover, whatever; but don't get
me wrong, Balto is better. But LBT 10 made me cry ( invasion of the

My opinion is that cause the Universal Team to make Balto PC Game and
Cartoons(series)and the price for putting the movie on TV to don't be

Games,or Cartoons (Series),or not to be so expensive the Movie to put

its not right balto is like the best movie in the world like yesterday
i want to 10 shops and ask for balto and they said there is no movie
named balto or balto or balto 3 its its to sad. like balto is my
hero and now i have to RENT THE MOVIE.its so mean because there is
people out there who love balto and i think we all sould make a
Petition and get people to sign and save balto because if balto is not
their to rent at the movie store then what sould i do to help.PLEASE

I'm surprised they hadnt come out with the 2nd and 3rd soundtrack. I
