Species: 7/8 Siberian Husky, 1/8 Wolf
Siblings: Molly, Lainey, Milo, and Gracie

Personality: Chase is very hardworking and determined. He takes his job very seriously and stops and nothing until he completes the tasks he is given. Like his father, he is more on the quiet side and prefers to listen rather than talk; however, when he has something to say, he will say it. He is very intelligent and can easily think his way out of pretty much any situation. He loves to help others and cares a lot about those around him, even strangers. He can come off a bit cold when you first meet him, but it’s only because he’s a serious wolfdog. Once you get to know him better, he warms up to you and he is enjoyable to be around.
Likes: His job, helping others, adventures, exploring, napping, fireplaces, meat
Dislikes: Being in danger, goofing off, bears, loudmouths
History: Chase was the second child of Dingo and Cady. Growing up, he proved to be very strong, smart, and he also had a very good sense of smell. Thus, he was adopted by a search-and-rescue trainer who trained him to be a rescue dog. Chase enjoyed his job and loved the thrill he got from it, as well as helping others. He did many rescue jobs all around Nome, but he was mainly used to find people who had gone missing in the Alaskan wilderness. He was extremely successful at his job, and never failed to find the people and pets that went missing. He also grew up to be a very attractive wolfdog, and a lot of the girls fawned over him for his bravery and intelligence. However, Chase showed no interest in them, claiming he was “married to the job.”
When he was around two, Chase and his owner set out to find a man and his dog who had gone missing around the outskirts of Nome. They were new to the town and went out to explore the area, and had gotten lost in a blizzard since they didn’t know their surroundings yet. Chase thought it would be an easy task, but it ended up being the hardest job he had ever done. It took him and his owners days to find the man, who was practically on the brink of death when Chase and his owner found him. However, the man’s dog, Juniper, was nowhere to be found, and was thus pronounced dead. The man was heartbroken by the loss of Juniper, and Chase had a hard time accepting the fact that he had actually lost someone on the job… and so he set out to look for Juniper, convinced she was still out there.
Chase’s friends thought he was crazy to set out and search for a dog that was pronounced dead, and his family advised him not to search. However, Chase couldn’t shake the feeling that perhaps Juniper was alive. He set out into the Alaskan wilderness to find her, and even went into territory he had never crossed before. He then found Juniper laying in a cave, barely alive. She had lost her owner in the blizzard after fleeing away in fear, and got lost in the cold, putting her in grave danger. Chase used his rescue dog skills to speed up Juniper’s recovery, and once Juniper was feeling better, Chase escorted her back to Nome where she was reunited with her overjoyed owner. Juniper considered Chase to be her hero, and she realized she had fallen in love with the dog that saved her life. Meanwhile, Chase realized maybe he didn’t want to just be “married to the job,” but mates with Juniper as well.
