Personality: Cherokee is a calm and reasonable guy with good judgement skills and enough tightness and sterness to keep his family and pack together. He is a loving mate and father who would do anything to protect his sons, his mate and their entire pack which he also considers his family. Cherokee is what you could call a gentle giant, he's a big softie who despite all his tightness loves to play with pups, and act like one himself every no and then, and he knows how to loosen it up sometimes, whether it's goofing off with his sons or just spending a day of relaxation in the den with Ayiana. He has quite a long temper and it's not easy to annoy or tick him off, and when he actually gets mad he usually doesn't even raise his voice, he just gives a very serious talk and then he needs a couple of hours just to himself, to clear his head and cool down.

History: Cherokee and his three younger sisters were born to two unnamed parents somewhere in the mountains. Because he was not only the oldest but also the only male, he loved bullying his sisters and giving them a hard time, but still he loved them and wished nothing bad for them, even if he never did admit it. When they were pups Cherokee always had a bit of a rivalry with one of his sisters, Aniu, they always competed for their parent's attention and always tried to better than the other one in everything, but as they grew that rivalry slowly turned into team work, like they could help each other in hunting and so on. In general, Cherokee had a quite happy and normal childhood, with a loving family to whom he shared a very deep and strong bond. A couple of years later, when all of them were grown up and had gone on their separate ways, Cherokee bumped into Aniu agin, and was absolutely thrilled to see his sister after a long time - until he learned that she had becomes mates with a dog. Cherokee was shocked, that Aniu could choose as her mate somone that was not of their own kind, and many times he warned her that a dog would only lead her to humans and she'd get herself killed. Aniu claimed that her mate, who went by the name Yukon, was not like that and that he truly cared about her, and she explained to Cherokee that she had rescued Yukon from a freezing river, they had fallen in love and he had chosen to stay with her in the wild, instead of going back to his humans and fellow dogs. Cherokee still wasn't convinced, but agreed to meet Yukon, just to please Aniu. While he agreed that Yukon was an extremely nice guy and clearly loved his sister, Cherokee never learned to fully trust him. Of course, he didn't want to hurt Aniu's feelings, so he decided to just leave without saying anything and let Aniu and Yukon have their happiness. For quite some time Cherokee roamed as a loner, but then he met another lone wolf, a female named Ayiana, it was love at first sight and the two became mates, starting a pack of their own and not too long after that they were blessed with two beautiful and healthy sons who were named Denali and Takoda.
