History

Puppyhood: Maebh was not born into a wolf pack, she was abandoned with her brother at barely eight weeks of age. Together, they were found by a young Inuit boy named Anique. Anique took Maebh and her brother back to his tribe. Once there, he showed them to his older sister Aruku. Over the course of the next few weeks, the puppies were cared for by Aruku. 

The boy grew very fond of the puppies. He gave her brother Tokolata a thick deerskin collar, naming him Buck. He gave Maebh a thin deerskin collar with a crystal on it naming her Crystal. He also placed a feather behind her left ear. He would play with both of them in his free time when they were not being trained. 

At twelve weeks of age, Aruku began training the young puppies to hunt. Maebh took to hunting very fast due to her instincts. In the span of the weeks that followed, she learned to swim and fish, her brother also said learned these things. She began to struggle to obey her human. In time she grew tired of being given commands. 

Nearing her first year, Maebh would adventure out farther and farther into the forest when she wasn't being trained. She was able to hear wolves howling and this excited her. She had never before heard a wolf other than her brother howl. She had always had a strong belief that they were abandoned for a reason and would one day return to their rightful pack. She decided to run away from the tribe. 

Young Adulthood (12 months- 3 years): Maebh wondered the forest for a few weeks relying only on her hunting skills, before finding a place to stay. One day, she found an overhand near a river. Maebh decided to stay there.  She spent time and dug out a small den just big enough for her self, it was spring now and the snow was getting mushy.
