Seems a buck who is, with his scruffy appearance, quite rough, serious and blunt, but polite.

To and With Friends/Family:

Among those he is close to, Cleft is a very genteel and loyal friend, a loving mate and an affectionate father. Although he used to be of serious, and quite lazy nature as a fawn, since becoming mates with the humorous Tilline and receiving the rank of Herald in the Silver Herd, he has become more jocular and dutiful.

being with his family, pleasing others, being praised, mushrooms (especially Cep mushrooms)

History: 

Cleft is the eldest of twin fawns, born a few minutes before his brother Djenva. In his second spring, he joined a buck group led by Soldier. 

A year later, Soldier disappeared and the buck-group split. Cleft went back to live near his parents. At two years of age, he was ready for a mate but, to his parents dismay, had no interest in seeking a partner. 

So Ronno and Wiosna matched him themselves to Tilline - after talking with the young doe, they told Cleft to go and meet her. Tilline and Cleft took to each-other immediately, becoming mates soon after. The next spring Tilline  bore Cleft a daughter, and they named her Contessa.
