Biography

History:

Immi was born in a herd called the Brownbush Herd, which lived n a nature reserve of the same name. She did not mix very well with her herd members. Her uncle Agrill was leader of the herd. A buck from some nearby mountainous region appeared in Brownbush reserve, and asked Immi if she would come back to his home as his mate. Immi, having made friends with the buck (whose name was Gneiss) agreed, but Agrill some heard of Immi and the mountainbuck's coupling plans. He was not happy with Gneiss taking Immi from his hefd, so he attacked him, challenging him to a fight.

Gneiss managed to win the battle. He and Immi became mates, but were imrisoned together in Brownbush land - Agrill would not let them go to the mountains.

One night Gneiss and Immi tried to escape. However Agrill caught them in the act, and gave chase. Immi split from Gneiss, not knowing what happened to him next. She fled to Bambi's forest, where, months later, she gave birth to two sons, Gillo and Grupa. She stayed in Bambi's forest, hoping Gneiss would find her there. Her friend, Faline sometimes visited them, and she adored the fawns. She took care of them when Immi wasn't home.

Then during her fawns first summer, Agrill arrived in search of her and wanting to take her back to Brownbush. Immi and her sons ran away to the land beyond Bambi's territory, and they settled for a while. They did not know the place they were staying was a hunting ground used by Man. One morning Immi and her sons were grazing when Men arrived. They shot Immi, and she was thought to be dead. However she is only shocked, with a grazed flank. As the men are loading her up on their truck she suddenly got up and fled. The hunters aim a gun at her again, but Agrill appears and throws himself in front of the guns. He is shot.

Immi forgives her uncle for how he had treated Gneiss and herself. She went to live in the Silver Herd, but left once her sons were old enough to look after themselves. By that time Gneiss had returned to her, and he and Immi went to live just outside Silver Herd territory, where Immi felt comfortable, due to her dislike of living amongst many deer.
