I just got done reading chapters 16, 17 and 18. That alone officially made my day XD The last two chapters led up to this one nicely (I was particularly thrilled by Korin's speaking role in chapter 17) and I once again find myself increasingly excited about what's in store for these characters in the next chapter ^_^ I'm also quite curious to see what Skander has planned...

Well...expect the unexpected. XD

Yeah. As I wrote I had it to where the low, slowed dark reprise of the main theme was playing as Calemvir lost conciousness, then it released and got heroic where Campion comes and beats the crud outta Braila. XD He turned pretty much into Nacht's blood knight, whereas I planned him to be a skinny, fox-ish guy. He... just isn't. He turned into a big(Rangy!), bulky terror.

Anyway yeah. Vervain is dead now. xD I found your words amusing.
