Hey, that KFC figurine is pretty cool! It even looks like the movie Balto, and captures one of his signature expressions pretty well. Not so much those plushies...or even the Steele figurine (IMHO)

I agree and would go as far as saying that the Balto KFC figure is probably the best out there with the exception of any original production material. The plushies are nice - I prefer the laying down one but they aren't an accurate representation. Balto is definitely better than the Jenna version but still could be better.

Looks to me like he simply printed out color backgrounds from the movies on card stock or something, and then propped the figurines up in front of them. In the second Steele pic, and the second Balto pic, you can see the edge of the backgrounds.

UKthewhitewolf wrote: These are awesome! Still forever envious of your epic collection of Balto merch. xD Thanks I'm just pleased that I have been able to preserve these items for the future. Can you believe that the backgrounds were rescued from being thrown out at the studio? The person I bought them from worked on the movie and rescued them from being destroyed.

Here's a couple more snaps for you ... this time from original studio art work (the 1:1 cel is a post-production piece but the background is original studio material). Attachment:

And some story boards from the White Wolf scene: Attachment:

Why is Steele blue in that picture?
By the way, this stuff you're showing us is epic man. I still wonder who would destroy those original prints though.
That white wolf scene looks so detailed and complete (without color). They remind me of the black and white pictures you see in chapter books.
If you have more time, please post some more! I'm SO drawn into this awesome stuff man!
