Fiata was relieved when the night finally fell and they were reaching the first check-in. She wasn't surprised that the Eagle and Raven Teams arrived at the same time. This was not going to be an easy race to win.

Cooper pulled ot a stop, got out of his harness, and looked at Leah. "Well?"

Relieved, Duke collapsed ont eh snow. He had made decision to run teh whole race.

Leah slowly got out of her harness and sat down, not looking at Cooper. She said in a bored voice," 'Well?' what?"

Sonya quickly stepped out of her harness and looked around for Dustin. She didn't dare call his name. If Storm found out he had followed them the whole way, they'd both be dead.

Fiata walked away from the sled, avoiding her father and brother. She wanted to find time to talk to Cooper again, mainly to make her family mad, but she also wanted to speak to him again.

Her glossy pelt shimmered in the evening sun as Nova kicked up snow behind her, racing after her young girl. She barked and trotted up to the young girl, receiving a soft pat on her head. The girl hugged her and ran off with her father, leaving Nova alone in the snow. She sighed and smiled, walking off to talk with Leah.

" Oh" said frosty to sonya glad that the stinging in his legs would go away but he did not want to just sit there so he asked " now what do we do?" with a puzled face

Well, the musher sets up camp for the night, and we have to stay out here and sleep," Sonya explained. "It's already late and we have to get up early in the morning. We should probably get as much sleep as we can."
