Dogo & Uzuri (Defying Gravity & -FallenAngel- ONLY)

(I know, I'm a horrible, horrible person! xD)

Erevu backed down a few more steps, but now it seemed that the lioness wasn't going to hurt him, since she was so curious about where his family was, and if he had got separated from them.

- I-I... I was just... playing, but I.. I wondered too far and now I don't know.. where my dad is, he then said quietly, and his voice was trembling a little bit, but it could hardly be heard.

Uzuri felt a large amount of sympathy for the young cub. She knew what it was like to feel lost and alone, but she couldn't let a young, innocent cub feel that way if she could do anything about it. "Would you like me to help you find your father?" She asked with a warm smile.

Erevu was feeling rather confused and slightly scared at the same time, he couldn't understand why a total stranger would want to help him, but then he remembered Dogo had been a total stranger to him aswell, and he had turned out his friend.

- Yes, t-that would be, uh, very kind of you, Erevu mumbled, trying to remember what Dogo had taught him about good manners.

Uzuri smiled at the young lion. "Well, before we go, let me tell you my name. I'm Uzuri." She told him. "What's your name?" She asked curiously.

- I'm Erevu, the cub reblied, and his voice wasn't as much anymore as it was in the beginning, he now believed that this lioness actually wanted to help him, and had no intentions of hurting him or Dogo.

Uzuri smiled. "Well, Erevu, let's go." Uzuri led the young cub through some grass. His scent was still there, and she would probably be able to find Erevu's father due to the young cub's scent trail.

Erevu looked at Uzuri, tilting his head but then rose up ro his feet and followed her. She really seemed like a nice person, who wouldn't hurt a fly, and ERevu was now convinced she only had good intentions.

Uzuri lifted her head and scented the sir. "Come on, Erevu! I found another scent!" She quickened her pace a bit when she sented a different scent, hoping that it was Erevu's father. She kept pace with the cub still.

Erevu's ears twicthed, as Uzuri said she'd found another scent, and he quickly hopped along side her and tried to locate the scent himself. Then, he regocknized Dogo's scent, not too far from him and Uzuri, and just then he spotted a brown lion's figure on the other side of the field.

- It's dad! he said with his face turning into a happy smile, and he ran towards the bigger male lion.

Uzuri sighed happily, but with a twinge of sadness. I wish that was me... She thought as she watched as Erevu ran towards a large brown lion. She padded forward to greet the male. "Hello." She said. "My name is Uzuri."

Dogo, who had been looking for Erevu and worried sick all morning, now heard Erevu's voice, his ears perked straight up and he now saw Erevu running towards him, and didn't pay any attention to the lioness, because he didn't notice at first.

- Erevu! Where have you been? Do you realize how worried I...

- Look, dad, I found a new friend!

Now, Dogo stopped his sentence, and raised his head to look at Uzuri, who introduced herself. Dogo's breath was nearly taken away, she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever come across, and his eyes grew bigger from amazement.

- H...Hello. I'm... Dogo, he then managed to mumble.

Uzuri smiled and blushed slightly. She pinned her ears back in embarrassment. The lion, Dogo, was certainly a handsome fellow. With his brown features and piercing, yet kind golden eyes, she was smitten by him.

Dogo was still staring at the lioness, he couldn't believe how beautiful she was, she had truly got him speechless. But then he shook his head, to kind of return himself to the ground, and coached a little, clearing his throat.

- Thank you so much for bringing him home, Uzuri, I don't know what I would've done if anything had happened to him, he then spoke, with a greatful voice, and glanced a smile at the young lioness.

Uzuri returned Dogo's warm smile with her own. "It was no problem. I know what it's like to lose your family." sHe took a pause and glanced at Erevu with caring eyes. "I couldn't let a little cub endure so much pain at such a young age."

Dogo hummed, and raised his eyebrows, he couldn't help but smile at the lioness, who seemed to have a nice touch with cubs.

- Yeah, I just wish he wouldn't run off like that, he then said, and glanced at Erevu, who looked at his paws with a little embarassed look on his face.
