Uzuri chuckled softly. "Don't you remember being a cub, Dogo?" Uzuri sighed when she thought about her cubhood. Images of her father and mother filled her brain. She shook her head.

- Oh, I remember, Dogo said with a smile, adn looked at Erevu.
- He actually reminds me of myself when I was in that age... he continued, and gently poked Erevu with his black nose.

Uzuri smiled at the pair and sat down. She felt safe enough to relax. She turned to look at Erevu. "Now Erevu, you're very lucky to have such a loving father," she said with a quick glance at Dogo. She turned back to the young cub. "But you can't go wandering off without him. You could get hurt." Uzuri felt the fur prickle on her back for instructing another lion's cub, but she felt a bit of responsibilaty for the cub, so she decided to do it anyway.

Erevu looked confused, and still didn't quite figure out why this strange new lioness was being so nice to them, all though, Dogo seemed to like her, and of course he would protect him if she DID have some bad intensions. But then, he glanced a smile a Uzuri, and said with his sweet, innocent cub voice:

- Okay, Uzuri, thanks.

Uzuri chuckled slightly. He was so young, so innocent. She stood up and faced Dogo. "Well, I'd best be on my way." She turned to pad away. "It was a pleasure meeting you two, and maybe we can meet again in the future."

Dogo raised his eyebrows, he didn't want Uzuri to leave, he looked at Erevu, who looked lik he didn't want that either, and then he walked a few steps behind her, clearing his throat, and then offered:

- Uhm, Uzuri... yo don't have to go, you know, we... we'd love to have you around.

Uzuri turned to face Dogo. "R-Really?" She stammered. She looked at Erevu, and than back at Dogo. "I'm sure I could stay, I have no where or no one else to go too." She smiled. "Thank you."

(I fell over and there was ice on the ground, and I sprained my rib :S)

Dogo smiled warmly at the young lioness, he was glad she accepted his invitation, he couldn't let go a lioness who had nowhere else to go, and no one else left in the whole world. He felt somewhat similar, therefore the two of them were in a way alike.

- No propblem. It'll be nice to have someone around to help me with this little rascal, he said with a smile, and then gently poked Erevu's side with his nose, making the cub fell down and look at him with a grumpy face.

Uzuri chuckled and padded over to the young cub. "Oh, Erevu's not that difficult." She murmured as she nosed him up to his feet gently. She pulled way from him and faced Dogo. "You just need to know how to treat him." She mused.

Dogo smiled, as Uzuri helped Erevu get back up, and spoke with a gentle voice:

- Yeah, I know. I was exactly like that when I was young.

Uzuri chuckled. "We were all like that once." She murmured when she thought about her cubhood. "Some have had it harder though..." She whispered to herself when she remembered the last time she saw her father's face.

Dogo saw Uzuri's face turning into a bit sadder look, he looked at his paws for a moment, feeling awfully sorry for the young lioness. EVen though he didn't exactly know what had happened to her, he still wanted to everything he could to help Uzuri, and make her feel better as much as he possibly could.

- Well... we should propably find a place to sleep.. Things outta look brighter in the morning, he then said with a sweet voice, smiling and walked a little bit closer to Uzuri.

Uzuri looked up at Dogo. "Yeah, right..." She murmured, her voice trailing. The memories of her parents were too vivid for her. She sat down and hung her head.

Dogo was already walking ahead, but then noticed that Uzuri wasn't coming with them, now he turned to her, and saw sitting to the ground and hunging her head low. Dogo looked at the lioness, with a bit worried look on his face, when Erevu asked quietly:

- What's wrong with Uzuri? Is she sick?

Dogo looked at Uzuri for a moment, then turned to Erevu.

- Erevu, you go to sleep already, okay? he said, and then walked up to Uzuri, with Erevu looking after him with a confused look on his face.

- Listen, uhm... If you want to talk, I'm here, Dogo said quietly, as he sat down beside Uzuri.

Uzuri turned to Dogo, tears streaming her cheeks. "My family. My pride. My parents. Dead." She said flatly. "I'm the only one that survived. Because I ran!" She spat the word "ran," as if it disgusted her.
