This is a RP between me and my good friend FallenAngel, about our characters Dogo & Uzuri meeting and finally falling in love :3

Moonlight lit up the savannah. A young lioness was trudging through the tall grass, her paws aching from walking for so long. Finally, when she felt that she was far enough, she sat down with a heavy sigh. Uzuri shut her eyes and hung her head down, remembering why she was running. Her pride, her family, had been killed by a pack of hyenas. She remembered when her mother told her to run, and like a coward she did. She growled. I should've been there to help them! But no, like a coward I ran! And came back to see my parents dead! She started to cry. I'm so sorry Father...

A brown lion with a tan mane was making his way throughout the grass, carrying a bird he had captured just a few minutes ago. He made it to a small den, where a beige lion cub's head popped out, looking at him with curious eyes. Dogo walked up to the cub, and dropped the bird in front of the cub, and panted a little, then he spoke:

- Here you go, Erevu, that's all I could find.

Now, Erevu, the cub, started eating the bird, but raised his head and gazed upon the larger lion, who sat down and watched him eat.

- Thanks, Dogo... but aren't you going to eat? the cub asked with confused tone in his voice.

- No, you need that food more than I do, Dogo replied with a smile, and laid himself down in front of Erevu.

Uzuri opened her eyes and looked at the moon. It was bearly a mere slimmer, but still shined brightly in the dark night. She looked at the night sky. Stars dotted the vast sky, and one shined brighter than the others. She smiled. Dad... She got up and continued walking, the thought of her father's star above her giving her hope to continue.

Dogo watched the little cub eating like he'd never had food in his life, with a loving smile on his face. Erevu was the best thing that happened to Dogo in a long time, after he had left his former home, the Pride lands. He couldn't have stayed there anymore, after he had his heart broken with the king's daughter, princess Neira whom he had been head over heels in love with, only she never returned his feelings and became mates with someone else. But now that he had found Erevu and took him as his own cub, he realized there were still good things left in life.

Now, Erevu finished eating, and let out a wide yawn, and Dogo laughed a little.

- Looks like someone should be getting some sleep, he said, as Erevu came and curlep up next to him. Dogo smiled, and gently licked he little cub's forehead fatherly.

- Go to sleep, my son.

Uzuri padded through the grass, her tan fur blending in well with the stalks. She grunted when she hit hher paw on a rock. I need food... She thought as she trudged on. And a place to sleep... Every since Uzuri's pride die, she had been all alone and lost.

Erevu had fallen asleep almost immidietally, but Dogo was still awake, and watching with a warm and fatherly smile on his face. He couldn't help wondering what his life would be like right now, if he hadn't stumbled upon this little cub. If it wasn't for Erevu, Dogo would be all alone, and that thought made him speechless. Now, he laid his head down on his front paws, gazed one last look on Erevu to make sure he was all right, and then closed his eyes, falling asleep quite quickly.

Uzuri sighed. Soon she arived at a small waterhole. There was wasn't much water left, but thankfully it was enough for Uzuri. She lapped the drops up eagerly, and settled down in the soft grass after se drank her fill. She shut her eyes and slowly fell asleep.

Morning came pretty fast, and Erevu was the first to wake up. He opened his eyes slowly, let out a small yawn and strecthed his paws. Then, he looked at the still sleeping Dogo, and leaned his front paws on the larger male's mane.

- Dogo.. Dogo, wake up, he called, but the bigger lion just growled in his sleep and rolled over. Erevu looked at him with a grumpy look on his face, and tried to bite Dogo's ear, but he now pushed him away with his paw.

- Ohhh... you're boring, Erevu then mumbled, then he slowly sneaked out of the den, and ran off to find something fun to do.

Uzuri woke up slowly. She blinked her eyes a few times before getting up and stretching. The sun was already rising and its warm rays soaked into Uzuri's fur. Now that feels better... She purred. She padded towards the waterhole and drank some water.

Erevu was pretty far from the den now, he was walking with his head gazed upon the sky which was still red as the sun was shining higher and higher all the time. Then, he found a small mouse sniffing in the ground, and started chasing after it playfully, he wasn't going to kill and eat it, he just wanted to have some fun with it.

Suddenly Uzuri heard paws thumping on the ground. she pricked up her ears and looked around. Where was the noise coming from? She took a few steps forward, trying to pinpoint where the sound was coming from.

Erevu laughed as he ran after the mouse, he wasn't watching at all where he was going, and his running was quite clumsy, like cubs usually were. Suddenly, he raised his head and saw a lioness standing right in front of him, he tried to slow himself down but it was too late for that, he was going too fast and the lioness was too close, so he bumped straight into her right back leg, and fell down.

Uzuri turned around when she felt smething hit her leg. She looked down and saw a little mae cub on the ground staring up at her wth fearful orange eyes. Uzuri bent her head down. "Hello." She said gently.

Erevu lifted his head and looked at the lioness with a scared look on his face, and when she bent her head down closer to him, he backed down, he had no idea what this strange lioness would do, and now he realized he shouldn't have left the den without Dogo.

(Aww poor li? Erevu is scared 8< xD)

(Poor guy :'[ You so mean to him! xD)

Uzuri picked up her head and took a step back to give the little cub some space. "I'm not gonna hurt you." She continued gently. "Where's your family? Did you get seperated from them? Are you lost?" She asked softly. She knew what the young cub was going through if he was lost.
