Snow
"This might be a little fun." Snow said getting out of his den when the siren rang. Looking around he stood by the other dogs. Ready to protect the junkyard from the desert dogs.

Midnight
Turning at the sound of the sirens, Midnight looked to the gate. Growling she walked to the open gate. She knew that with the sand filled wind they wont have a good advantage but she would fight to her death if needed.
(awww. You go for her Duke.)

Hearing the siren overhead made Pete's stomach drop. He knew what that meant, and he knew it was no good. Peter needed to do something, but he wasn't sure what he could contribute. Being the youngest, and lets face it, probably weakest member of the pack, he knew he wouldn't stand a chance in a fight with a desert dog. He jumped out of his rusty bug and crawled as fast as he could against the whipping wind. He found shelter under an old truck that was somewhat close to the now open gate and the rest of the pack. He let out a yip letting the alpha know he was there. He needed instruction, he wanted to help in anyway possible. He kept his eyes toward the open gate, hoping nothing came through.


(If you want I can add a desert dog too.)

Snow
Holding his ground with the wind, he looked out into the desert to see if their was any dog out their that would try and get into the junkyard. His extra dew claw helped him keep a drip on the ground as the wind tried to whip him around.

Midnight
"If I go and hide then the desert dogs and predators will kill me. If I die I'm going down fighting." Midnight yelled over the wind. Her eyes flashed to Duke then back to the gate.

Midnight
Midnight jumped away from Duke, then she turned to the alpha when he spoke. Hearing Ferdinand say that it was the deadliest part of the storm, she turned to her den. As she was leaving she turned and looked at Duke. "Sorry." she said, it was quiet enough that if you weren't paying attention you wouldn't have herd it.

Snow
Walking/crawling his way to Ferdinand. Snow looked at the alpha. "What about the gate? The desert dogs could get in."

Peter whimpered at the alphas reply. He didn't agree with hith his instructions but knew the alpha cared for his safety. He crawled back to his car. It felt like the longest crawl ever since the wind was becoming so strong. He sat in the front seat of his car alert. He wanted to be available if the fight got too serious.

Riley hung his head low as walked through the desert. This could be his chance. He was near the junkyard. He could smell it. He was perfectly camouflaged with the desert, he knew he had the upper paw in that sense. He kept walking, finally seeing hints of the chain link fence surrounding the junkyard. He knew of most of the dogs in the junkyard. He has studied them from a distance. He knew that the alpha was a larger dog, but could probably easily be taken down if he was alone. Only if he did it correctly, and had the right timing. His only other worry had to be the husky. He seemed to be trusted by the alpha, therefore he must be strong. The other dogs were large and somewhat intimidating, but weren't going to be to be and issue as far as Riley was concerned. If his plan worked, he either had to plan on killing the rest of the "pack" or claiming them as his own. Riley growled in satisfaction and began moving closer to the junkyard.

Midnight
Walking/crawling to her car, Midnight looked around. The sand made it hard to see so she hunkered in her trunk.

Snow
Snow nodded to Ferdinand then ran to his car. Getting into the backseat he curled into a ball to protect himself from the skin piercing sand.

Moving closer Riley now started to see hints of the Alphas white fur. 'How dumb,' he thought, 'Just standing in the open...' He knows he wasn't seen at this point since he was low to the ground and his sandy colored fur didn't give him away. He finally came into sight. He just stood there. He smiled, "Ferdinand."

Riley knew he stood no chance. He knew that coming in. Between Ferdinand and Duke he wouldn't last a second. He didn't come in here without a plan, but he just had to convince them that he was confident. He stood there fairly calm as they all sized him up, but laughed when they waited for an answer. He pushed Duke away from him in a "friendly/joking" manner. "I'm not here to fight, you guys know I wouldn't stand a chance! Why would I even put myself into this situation? I want to join your pack and help you out! I obviously have something to offer since I have practically lived my whole life in the desert. I could be a great asset and you know it!" He bowed his head trying to be respectful to the alpha, he all but layed down. "I have lived in the desert for 5 years now, I have seen things you couldn't even imagine! I have fought of predators twice the size of me! I am getting older now, starting to slow down, I need to get out of the desert and settle down. I come in peace and I want you to know that I will not be a harm to your pack in any way."
