Ferdinand didn't buy his pleads to join, "You really think I'd let a lowlife such as yourself join?" The large, heavy muscled brute growled lowly, "You've lasted that long in the desert, you can last a couple more. Leave." The brute demanded, "Go on, get!" He said, fangs bared as he delivered several booming barks and growls towards him. Duke's fangs bared like his alpha's did, ears pinning as her growled, taking note of the brutal wind pelting him.

Misha stood in the shadows of a car. She had crept closer when she heard the gate opening to see three of her pack mates standing over a pit bull. The same pit bull that has been stalking the junkyard dogs for some time now. Her pelt becoming more and more matted the longer the storm went on.

Astro stood on top of a car. His shoulders hunched as he watched the stray asking to join the pack. He feels there is something odd about the way he was asking that seamed to Astro that if he was accepted he would some how double cross them some how.

"As you wish.." he said saddened. "Could I at least stay till the storm blows over? You know I show no threat. You could kill me in a heart beat if you wanted too." Riley lowered his head once again. He backed away from them showing he was willing to leave.

Riley stood up, "Fine then." He turned around to walk away, "You don't know what is coming then. This storm is a sign that something bigger is coming. There are larger dogs out in the desert. Larger than you. And a lot smarter. I tried to warn you, and I could help with them. I know all of their strengths and weaknesses, but you seem to know so much already, or so you think. Good luck fighting those dogs on your own because they WILL work together." Riley had to plant that seed of fear in them. He couldn't just leave them feeling like they had won.

"The storm has nothing to do with the stupidity of you and your desert friends, the storm is just happening."

"See, it's calmed down, so you'd better find shelter out there before it tries and get's worse."

"Believe what you want, its your funeral." Riley walked back into the desert, camouflaged into the swirling sand. He knew something was coming, he knew that the junkyard pack would soon be no more.

Hearing the lock activate on the gate. Crawling from her car she shook some sand out of her pelt. "Blasted sand." she said as some sand stayed in her fur and scratched her skin. She walked back to the alpha and Duke.

Snow
Snow looked out from his car. He saw the group of dogs near the closed gate.

Shaking off a layer of dust, Peter jumped out of his car. He knew all was well now and skipped to where the rest of the pack was. "Some storm, am I right?" he chuckled.

Peter lowered his head, "Do you think the worst is over then? It couldn't get worse than that." He plopped his butt down with his head still lowered. "We should probably check around for damages in the fence, don't you think?"

"I wouldn't think we need to check, it was just a sand storm, not a hurricane."
Krueger barked, rolling his eyes. He watched as the sand wall left his sight, and took over the desert.
Krueger looked at his pack ,"What are you guys doing? Get back to your jobs." he growled lowly.

"Just a thought..." Pete huffed. He stood up with the alphas orders and wandered off. He didn't really have a specific job, he just wandered and tried to stay out of the way.

I'll be making my desert dog on the discussion page. Keep a look out for 'em!

Duke trotted along the fence line, checking for rats or any other possible food. He was quite hungry..
