Oh Riley is prepared! Haha!


Riley chuckled a little at the attitude, but straightened up a little. "Sorry, I don't spend a lot of time with others so its hard to contain my "attitude"." He stood up and kind of circled her sniffing. "A year is impressive. Were you with a pack or by yourself? I ask because it judges a lot about you."

"Smart. You seem to have things figured out." His body loosened. He didn't see her as a threat and didn't want her to see him as a threat. "Hey I know a place with a few wild goats, they are too tricky to take down by themselves, but maybe together we could get one. One would feel us up for the a couple of days."

"No really! I swear. They must have escaped from somewhere or something, but like I said, they are tricky." Riley started walking off, "Come on! We can probably get to them before sun down."

"Alrighty!" He picked up his speed and they were off! After a good 30 minutes he started to slow down, "We are getting close to where they usually are." he said sniffing the air. "This way." He stayed lower to the ground and circled the area. He poked his head up and there they were, two goats. "See, I told you. We have to do this strategically. I think if you circle to the other side, I can scare them that way and you can jump out and nab one. Seem like a plan?" Riley wagged his tail in excitement, he hadn't eaten this good in a while.

Riley grinned and waited for her to be in position. He could see her reaching the point he wanted and bolted toward the goats. He barked at them and singled a slower one out. It was still a little faster than he was, but not by much. He nipped at the goats feet pointing it in the direction toward the surprise waiting for it.
