OOC: Thank goodness you did, Windy. xD
"Sounds alright to me, though when the cop cars pass, I'm going to get a meal. Someway or another," he added, looking at Louis. He just now caught his other comment and chuckled quietly. "Thunderbird. I like it. I don't think they could sue us, could they?" he asked, repeating Jace's previous thoughts. "Oh well. Either way, I can't see why these heroes do it anyways. People never thank them enough, and like us right now, we've got cop cars on our trail. How is it worth it?" he mused.

Jace glanced at him, amber eyes studying him carefully for a moment before she responded. "You're thinking about it wrong. The heroes don't do it for the thanks in the first place. They do it because they want to help others. Their powers and skills give them the ability to protect those who can't protect themselves. They do it to save lives. If people can't always see that, so what? They're still doing good out there. That's why they do it. Sure, it's dangerous and usually deadly. But isn't it worth it to know you helped to prevent an innocent life from being lost?" she asked, tucking a loose piece of hair behind her ear thoughtfully as she continued.
"Haven't you ever wanted to make a difference in the world? Do something great, something good enough to make it into history books? This is our chance to do that, Trey!" By this point, Jace's eyes were practically glowing with excitement. "Maybe we have these powers for a reason. You know, 'with great power comes great responsibility', and all that. We should use them for good, to help others."

"I always thought that saying was a little melodramatic, to be honest," he said and chuckled quietly to himself. In a more serious reply, he said, "But I get what you mean... maybe you're right." He sighed shortly before continuing, "Maybe if people could see there's not just evil in the world, they'd be nicer... they'd appreciate things more..." He had an uncharacteristically far-off expression, thinking of things past.
OOC: Writer's block, but I wanted to keep this rp going D:

"Hey, it may be melodramatic, but that doesn't mean it isn't true," Jace responded easily, nudging his arm lightly with her elbow. She offered a small smile that accompanied the action before continuing the conversation. "One of the biggest mistakes people make is not appreciating things in life," she agreed. That look of excitement returned to her face again, seeming to make her amber eyes glow. "I really want to do this, Trey," she added. "I've always wanted to, you know?" She suddenly turned to the other boy in the car. "What do you think, Louis?" Ooc:// Thought it was time we brought Roi back into this.

OOC: Hey guys. Sorry in not posting in ever (tis Roi obviously xD). Alright if I continue on this account? It's probably the only one I'll be using from now on.
If it's okay I'll just continue cause it's been way to long since I've RPed.

Louis didn't know what to reply. His plan to 'make it into history books' wasn't to be reckless and use powers he doubted he had (and even if he did he thought them useless). Not that he really wanted to be famous at all, but he wanted to just be a humble surgeon. Or simple town doctor at the very least. People never thought much of him and he never thought much of people, yet his goal in life was already to save lives. And now the possibility of being a 'super hero' was in the cards? How did all this even happen. If anything he wanted to be in the medical field for his love of science and fascination with the human body. But what would being a super hero give him? Probably lawsuits from ungrateful damsels.
Glancing between his companions and rubbing the back of his neck, Louis chose his words carefully, "I-I don't know. It's not really what I had planned for my future. And being a super hero? You really think that's a good idea? People today don't know how to appreciate anything. Anyone we could save could just as likely look at the act with dollar signs in their eyes." He recoiled his hand at a sudden pain from running his nails across his skin. He glanced at it a second before he hid it quick and stared baffled out the window. His fingertips had claws.

She frowned, biting her lips. Caught up in the excitement of the moment, she probably hadn't thought it completely through. Despite that, she still wanted this, so badly it ached. But Louis did have a point; sometimes, all people would see was the money. Who knew if the public would even accept them? It could turn into some whole X-Men type mess, and Jace wasn't too fond of being dscriminated against and hunted down like some sort of animal. Or the governement could try and experiment on them...that wasn't something she wanted either. I've been watching too much television, she thought, shaking her head.
"I think there will be definitely be problems," Jace responded slowly, mind struggling to come up with an adequate argument. "But I still think it would be worth it to help people." Really, that was one of the main reasons she wanted to do this, and other than the wistful desire that burned inside of her, it was the only reason she could think of at the moment. The teenager flinched harshly as pain stung her neck, almost randomly, followed by a headache that lasted only for a second. Her hand flew up to the spot, making the car jerk a little to the right. She quickly adjusted, letting out a small breath. What had happened? The only explanation that made sense was if she had somehow scratched herself (which she definitely would've noticed...she wasn't bleeding or anything) or she had sensed someone else's pain. It sounded unlikely, but then again, so did everything else that had happened thus far.
"Are you guys okay?" she asked, resisting the urge to turn back around and glance at Louis and Travis.

Startled at the sudden motion of the car, Louis grabbed for anything to grab. His hands settled for the edge of the seat and the door. His neck was bleeding slightly but he couldn't feel it or the pain anymore. He wasn't even thinking about his injury at all when he realized his nails were still claws and he may have just shredded Trey's upholstery. After settling down and realizing that they weren't going to die, Louis buried his hands under his arms and moved his leg over where his hand had grabbed the seat and hoped Trey wouldn't notice. "F-fine. Are you okay?"

It happened too fast for Trey to fully realize, but right when he was about to join in the discussion between the two, the car swerved for a moment. He noticed a blur of red near Louis' neck as they did, but before he knew it, Jace had managed to take back control of the car. "Geez, Jace. Play it closer to the vest will ya?" he joked lightly. "I'm fine. I don't know about you, though." He said just after Louis' question. He turned to face the other teenager with a raised eyebrow, searching his neck to find the red spot he thought he noticed seconds ago.
"Hey Lou... are you bleeding?" he questioned. Although Trey recalled somewhere in the back of his mind that Louis wasn't particularly fond of that nickname, Trey couldn't help but use it anyway. What else would you expect from a local delinquent with nothing better to do than hack grade files for money?
