I missed this one?

I feel as if I'm falling XD I love the we umbrella, and I love how everyone else is sitting there with them too. LOL
------

I feel like rambling xD You have been warned. <--- No Lorax quote intended.

Soooo I had to shoot the following with my Kodak. Not that I don't mind that camera (long story short, but the same thing happened to this camera that happened to my Nikon. But now it has developed an issue where some of the photos go corrupt. Luckily that didn't happen here.), I do like that camera, but my Nikon yesterday decided to die. It won't charge anymore. :/ Not a big deal, it has a warranty. Hopefully I'll get that sorted out before our trip next weekend. Otherwise I'll have to put my trust that my Kodak won't mess up.

And just to clarify how I got my Kodak to work, once upon a time I got the same model off of Ebay, but the camera ended up being a pile of junk. It works fine and all, but it's not in the best physical shape. Anyways, I discovered that what was wrong with my Kodak was that it works, but the charging part failed in it. So I now use that pile of junk as a slave charger xD The pro on that one, there is always an extra spare battery!

Nice angle, and a fair composition. What is it with you Brits and your land's apparent love of the rain anyway? You're almost as bad as those folks from the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and Southwest of Canada.

Well, I was aiming for a decent picture, but it was incredibly cold and very wetl

With regards to us loving rain...we don't. But we do. :D

Okay, well, my Nikon is back in business. The issue was the cord to the charger was no good. So I had to get a $41.00 charger.

Cinnamon, a Shepherd Husky mix. She came from a backyard breeder. Very sweet girl.

If you have ever seen the the body of a Basset Hound, and the coloration of a Rottweiler (or some sort of Doberman), here ya go. XD This was the case here.

I don't know what her name is.

Image

I also don't know her name, but she is a sweet lab puppy. I had a hard time getting a picture of her, she loved to jump up onto me, even while I was sitting on the ground. So while she became distracted by the geese over in the field, I grabbed a hold of her to keep her still. xD

Alright, so here are the pictures from my trip to the U.P. of Michigan.

The clouds section

Nearing the Mighty Mac

Image
Was photographing the clouds over lake Huron. I think xD Could have been the other side, but I photographed this on the Huron side.

The U.P and clouds.

More clouds in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Image
Sault Ste. Marie is pretty much right on the boarder of Canada, and that land mass out in the distance is Canada.

Taken on our way to our motel.

Whitefish Bay - Tequanimum falls
We were here 2 years ago (Whitefish Bay). If you look back at the first page of this topic, I posted a picture of the lighthouse.

Really this video is rather pointless, but eh, why not. I would have gotten more if my battery hadn't been low.
And sorry for the bad video skills xD

Remember Melvin?

Well, here he is! I adopted him today. Though he is a little sick at the moment. He has a cat cold, and he got carsick on the way home, but he will be fine.

And yes, his name will not be changed xD

I was lucky enough to get a DSLR camera as a early Christmas present. The camera is a NikonD3100 (Nikon's cheapest SLR camera), which is an entry level SLR. Despite that, the camera is great!

Sorry about the size. :/

Here are some shots of my cat Melvin.
