Nice photos Mighty. From a Nikon user to another, if you want a really nice lens for not a lot of money check out the AF 1.8 50mm Nikkor lens. It will be manual focus on your camera but it is a fantastic lens for money.

Here are a couple that I've taken with it - you get a really nice control over depth of field

These are beautiful, AC! I love how you slowed down the shutter speed to photograph the moving water.

Thanks Mighty! Slowing the shutter speed to catch the running water is fun. Here's a couple where I got quite a cool effect.

Just for interest this is where they filmed the fight scene in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I don't think that water would have been flowing quite as hard that day lol

Here's another

Fantastic contributions, Ac! Excellent work on practically all of those!

I haven't submitted anything in a while, but here are a few I took recently...

First is a couple of shots of a wall sconce in my parents' home, in their "powder room" (main floor bathroom). The first is actually in true color, and shows the effect of early morning sunlight coming in from the laundry room door across the hall from the powder room, reflecting not only scattered light off of the bulb of the electric "candle", but also showing some of the "panes" from the door's full-length glass window in the cast shadows. The second is that same image, taken a second time in sepia tone. These are arguably the most artistic couple of photos I have ever taken in my entire life:

Next are a couple of sunrise shots, and a couple of cloud scapes...for Mighty.
