I rented it from a Blockbuster a few weeks after it came out. It was okay, the animation was better than Wolfquest, and I liked the fact they put back in the important factor of the first movie- sled dogs and races. I liked some of the newer characters, while I didn't care for the songs, I liked how the had a Rosy cameo (was hoping she had a bigger part though :c ) and more Jenna.

Anyway, I wasn't very fond of Wings of Change. Kodi was too whinny for me cx And Stella was really creepy. I was pretty upset they didn't bring back Aleu or Steele either, I felt like they could've at least tried to connect the other movies.

Hidden text : click to show
I know many people aren't very fond of the sequel(s). But I loved it. I loved it Aleu. I think it was mostly because it wasn't as serious at the first one :3 But I kinda like the first one for that very same reason, now that I'm older. The whole "find who you arE" was a good diea, but I'm not sure it was done the way it should've been, if that makes sense. Wow. Good job reading there Cin *pats self on back* Anyway, I wasn't very fond of Wings of Change. Kodi was too whinny for me cx And Stella was really creepy. Secondly, PLEASE don't center your text like that, it's hard to read. Why do you think Kodi is so "whinny", and why is Stella so "creepy"? It has been said time and time again, there is no need for Aleu to come back. Her story is done, and so is Steele's.

@MightyBalto, sorry :c I read the title as Wolf quest, because I'm an idiot and typed that and kinda liked it. But well, sorry for the spam. I can erase it if that would be better?
Kodi; I felt as though through he constantly was "whining" (for lack of better term) to Balto and his team, about how they needed to be more serious, how wrong Balto was to help the pilot, etc. I felt as though they could've scripted it better. Though keeping in mind, it's a children's movie so maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill.
Stella; I felt served no purpose whatsoever to the plot other than giving Boris a love interest. And her song "mister gander," and just the way she was potrayed as some sort of "eye candy," just felt like it didn't belong?

Though keeping in mind, it's a children's movie so maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. It's practically a given that the movie could have done with some better writing, though the two examples you refer to might not be the best examples, in my opinion. Kodi was proud of his background, wanted to emulate his dad, and was concerned with doing a good job (as evidenced by the talk about needing to be more serious). All three of those are things which benefit any society, and thus ought to be portrayed positively in front of kids. As for being upset with his dad for helping the pilot, that's definitely not a positive, but I think it showed that Kodi still had a lot to learn. Owning up to mistakes and going against negative peer pressure are also things more people should major in these days, although I grant that this might have been a poor choice of time and place to put it in. I also allow that I'm not a professional, so enough said there. cinnamonjenna wrote: Stella; I felt served no purpose whatsoever to the plot other than giving Boris a love interest. I was surprised at myself from picking it apart as much as I did when I first saw it. I don't remember a lot of what I was nit-picking, but it wasn't bad enough to not finish it; I should see it again sometime to see if that's changed.
I definitely wasn't too impressed with it, but I was happy that we had it since it was better than not having another Balto, in my opinion. Then again, I rate the original pretty highly, so I could have had a fair amount of bias when I was watching this one, since my standards were set kinda high.

I actually couldn't even finish it, I was so bored. I wish they had brought back Aleu or Steele. Of course Aleu and Steele's stories were wrapped up in the preceding movies. But I'm sure they could find someway to bring them back, that's what a plot is for after all. I don't know what it was about it- I was about 12 went I tried to watch it, but it just held no interest for me. Plus the animation had degraded so much from the first movie...

I never Really cared for WQ or WOC. I Loved the first one the best. The Sequels had Crummy Animation. ( Wings of Change had the worst. ) I Did'nt Really Care much For the Songs , And Some Charecters were Uneeded , And Both Kodi and Aleu got on my nerves. Other Wise , I'd watch all 3 Movies , Just not Balto 2 or 3 As often.

Because I don't see what was wrong with it. The art quality is certainly better than that of Balto 2... And FYI, you don't need to capitalize random words in the middle of your sentences... Only capitalize what needs to be capitalized.
