Film/series in question

• Only fanfictions concerning the Source site on which it's sent are allowed. For example, if you're on The Lion King Source, your fanfic must concern The Lion King. If you're on All Dogs Go to Heaven Source, your fanfiction must concern All Dogs go to Heaven and so on. Your fanfic must include one or more official characters from the movie. A fanfiction without any of them will be rejected. A large part of the fanfiction must concern official characters, they are not an excuse to write a fan-character story. Even if the non-official character can be the hero of the story, he/she must be surrounded by one or more official characters.

Using your characters

• Your characters can be in your fanfictions as long as there is at least one official character from the movie/series/books concerning the site.

Length

• Except for poems, all fanfictions must be at least one page long (about 1000 words minimum), and most importantly, must not look like a summary.

Formatting

• Structure your fanfic into paragraphs in order to make reading it more easy. Don't forget to correct your text before sending it, since it's very important for the reader to have something nice to look at.

Submission

• Only finished fanfics are accepted (your can start to write it, save it, and resume later; send it only when it's done). If you want to share your fanfic little by little, you can send it on the forums, others will give their opinion there.

Validation

• In order to be sure they are appropriate for the site, fanfictions must be checked by moderators before being published online. Don't forget to click on the "Declare my fanfic ready" when you're finished, otherwise mods won't validate it.

Use of images

• You can only use images you have permission (you must ask the author(s) if it's not your entire creation). The rules concerning images are applicable here as well. Only images provided by Animation Source members are allowed.

No stealing

• Do not send fanfictions you haven't wrote yourself. 

Minimum age restriction

• Choose a minimum age required to read your fanfictions. Remember that fanfics with too much violence, gore, swearing, or sexual content will be refused.
