Personality: Alek is a down-to-earth, easy going and free spirited lion who unlike his father doesn't worry too much about tomorrow and just takes life one day at a time. Another trait that separates him from his father is that he makes friends rather fast, and can quickly tell if someone is worthy of his trust or not. Alek has a pretty positive and uplifting attitude towards life, altough sometimes, he too, can find himself feeling a bit "down on the docks" due to the tragic memories from his childhood. But even then, he usually uses humor and cracking jokes as a shield, to hide his true emotions.

Likes: His father, Honor, Kuimba, the Pridelands, playing with his little sister, annoying his little brother.

Dislikes: War and violence, fire, rain and thunder, when his brother bugs him.

Story: Aleksei was born as the only cub to king Sergei and his mate, but when he was just an infant, the pride was invaded by a group of enemies. His father was overthrown by his best friend, whom his mother also left him for, so Sergei had no choice but to flee with little Alek and take refuge in the Tree of Life, who was a close ally of their pride. The Tree of life's healer, Nirmala, helped Sergei raise Aleksei, and as he grew a little older and understood what had happened, he grew to really hate and resent his mother for what she did to his father. Eventually, they left when Alek was old enough to travel, and they set out to find a home of their own. Sergei had grown extremely protective towards Aleksei, and never let him out of his sight, but one day, when he wasn't looking for just a few seconds, the cub snug away and almost got himself trembled in a rhino stampede, but fortunately a lioness named Honor came to his rescue and got him out of there just in time. When Sergei got to the scene he was furious, and thinking she was going to hurt his son, almost attacked the lioness, but Alek stepped in, and told his father that Honor had saved him. Sergei was extremely recentful, and forbid Alek from going near her or any strange lionesses again, but against his father's orders Alek started hanging with Honor, he liked her and soon found out that she was the sister of the king of the Pridelands, Simba. He and Honor formed a close friendship, and when Sergei found out, he wasn't too pleased. But in time, Aleksei managed to convince his father that Honor was okay, so he finally gave her a chance, and soon they fell in love and became mates. When Alek reached his teens, Honor soon gave birth to twins, Cedric and Celia. Aleksei had an immidiate soft spot for his little sister, whom he became best pals with, but he never got along with his younger brother Cedric; as he was the youngest of the bunch, Cedric always seemed to get what he wanted and always got their parents attention, and it drove Alek absolutely crazy, which is why the brothers fought all the time. Alek had become friends with a lioness named Kuimba, the daughter of Simba and Nala, and often snug out to nightly walks with her, pouring his heart out to her. She was an excellent listener, and someone Aleksei could even talk to about some very sore subjects, such as his mother, and how he and his father had to flee from their home because of her betrayal. Kuimba was that one person with whom Alek felt like he didn't have to fake, and to whom he could always rely on, even on subjects as ridiculous as his brother making him crazy, and soon, he started to feel something a little stronger than  friendship towards her.

Relation to TLK: He was raised in the Tree of life, his father's mate is Simba's sister and he falls in love with Simba and Nala's daughter.
