Personality: Very impulsive, hot-headed, and sarcastic. He does have a heart of gold deep down, though, but get into a fight with him, and he'll never let it lie. He does end up growing out of this as he becomes older, being less impulsive and more reasonable with his choices. Even though him and Adanna no longer have relations with each other, he still does care about her, and think about her from time to time - but Imani and her younger sister Dawn have also become his priority, and he watches out for them too. Despite how grown-up he is now, he still can't help, but fall back into old habits...

History: Azazel was the final born cub between his parents, who had two live litters before him and a third litter that was miscarriaged. His birth was the nail in the coffin for his parents, for they separated after falling out of love with each other. His mother, as accordingly, abandoned him near the Pridelands, for she did not want to have anything left to do with a cub conceived by the lion she thought she wanted to spend her life with.

He was discovered by Simba during his routine look-out of the lands, and, feeling sorry for the poor cub, did not kill him and instead welcomed him into the pride. Azazel was given to Kiara just to feed from for she had just given birth to Adanna only a few days before Azazel's arrival. The first few months of his life, little progress was made in regards to Azazel making friends because he kept to himself. That all changed because of Adanna, who was able to bring Azazel out of his shell, and he eventually became a bit more open, and made companions with Duka and Sanaa, though he always preferred Adanna just because he enjoyed their arguments.

Simba - to keep with what his parents did to him beforehand - wanted to betrothe Azazel to Adanna. Kiara was quick to agree with the idea (Kovu was hesitant, but eventually came around), but neither Azazel nor Adanna liked this idea, but they were only cubs, so that was expected. When they reached adolescence, they both became ecstatic of the idea of their eventual marriage. Their budding attraction for one another, however, quickly declined as they reached adulthood. Their engagement was broken off, and, finding no reason to stick around anymore, Azazel left, unintentionally hurting Adanna in the process.

He eventually came across Imani and her younger sister Dawn, who were also wandering. Imani did not trust nor like Azazel immediately. Azazel, likewise, did not like her attitude. But Imani softened just a bit to offer Azazel a test, which he would have to complete to be able to travel with them. He accepted it anyways, and after saving Dawn from a raging rhino, he eventually won over Imani's trust. Contrasting with her sister, Dawn LOVED Azazel from day one, much to his dismay and confusion. But she, like Imani, eventually grew on Azazel.

One could say that some feelings are beginning to form between Azazel and Imani, and yes their relationship is slowly developing into something more, but Azazel vehemently denies that he loves Imani, just to save himself of the embarrassment.
