Personality: Bour makes up for his small size by having a big personality. He is very tough and enjoys a good challenge. He doesn't like to be talked down to like he's a cub, and hates to be underestimated just because of his size, and lack of mane. Bour is very boisterous, and sometimes hard to handle. He will gladly dish back anything you give him. But despite his hardened exterior, deep down Bour is an insecure, frightened male, tormented from the anxiety brought on by his past. He keeps to himself a lot, only furthering his own inner torment, but he still believes that he doesn't need anyone to help make him feel better. Of course, then enters Majuto, and Bour begins to see that he doesn't have to keep on keeping to himself as much anymore.

History: Bour was conceived from Nala's encounter with the lion Tanglemane while she was searching for Simba. She was in heat, she was insecure and depressed, and he was there, it had just happened. Tanglemane already had a family waiting for him, but feeling bad for Nala, he introduced her to his family before explaining everything. Tanglemane's mate accepted Nala's stay with them until she gave birth to Bour, then she quickly chased off the younger lioness. There were three cubs, and Bour was the final cub born.

From birth he was wracked with many health problems. He was smaller than the other cubs (from Nala and Tangle's litter as well as Tangle's litter with his mate), and so he was expected to not live through the first night when Nala had abandoned them. He did nearly die, but Tangle's mate, having a fondness for the cubs regardless if they were hers or not, did not give up on him, and she continued to treat him and care for him until Bour managed to regain strength, and live to fight another day. As a result Bour always had the stronger relationship with his adopted mother than he did with his father, who he always felt looked down upon him with contempt. Bour was always teased by his older siblings for being so pathetic-looking, which resulted in Bour clamming up, surrounding himself with large walls to protect himself. On the outside he made it seem like the gossip never hurt him, but deep down it cut into him deeply.

Bour's somewhat calm family life came to an end when a fire, started by poachers in an attempt to flush out game, swept into their land. By then Bour was older, and his mane had spurted in, so when he was separated from his family, he was able to survive on his own long enough. But losing his family resulted in Bour developing separation anxiety, and some nights he dreamt about his family perishing in the flames. Bour's mane also never grew in as it should've been, due to his illness and other probloems.

So Bour was left on his own to survive, and to say he did poorly was an understatement. He was near death by the time he was discovered by a coalition of lions, among whom was Majuto, an older lion who took sympathy upon him. The other lions did not want Bour to join them, and so Majuto left with Bour. Their relationship could best be described as a love-hate relationship - their blatant differences got on the others' nerves, but at the same time they were similar enough where they could appreciate the other. Even though Bour would never admit it, he soon found he liked Majuto's company, even feeling safe with the older lion. His anxiety lessened, and the dreams happened less.
