Personality: At first, Imara may seem harsh and unkind, but when one gets to know him better, he is quite nice. He is wise and strong and rarely lets others get the better of him. He is loyal to his kingdom and his family.

Bio:

Imara was born just before Crown-Prince Mohatu, and was the son of Counsellor Giza. As soon as he can walk and talk, Giza teaches Imara to be a strong and wise leader. Imara is unhappy with the fact that he will be led by an Emperor-King for most of his life, but he goes along with it and obeys his superiros.

He becomes friends with Mohatu during their adolescence, and Mohatu introduces him to a lioness of his pride, Madaha. Imara is instantly smitten and becomes good friends with her. He invites her to live with him in his land when they come of age and Madaha agrees.

The two marry, but Madaha does not give birth to Imara's sons until Crown-Princess Uru, daughter of Mohatu, is almost a teen. Ukweli is firstborn and carries the usual Eastlander traits, high, shallow cheekbones and dark fur. But Ahadi carries more Pridelander-ish traitts, such as tan fur and fleshy cheekbones. Imara is pleased with his heirs though, and dotes upon his cubs.

When Imara hears that Prince-Consort Kebwetu of the Pridelands is dead, he recieves a visit from Empress-Queen Uru. She asks if one of his sons, now both young adults, would wed her and be Prince-Consort. Imara agrees and send Ahadi off to the Pridelands.

Imara lives to a well old age and dies along with Madaha when the two elders decide to hunt together.
