Personality: Less jovial than his father was, and much more serious. The only time Juugu ever smiles is whenever he's around Kanika - otherwise, Juugu keeps a firm paw about the place. He places high expectations on himself and on what he wants to accomplish in place of his father, and in a way seems to have an Oepdius complex towards his father, for Juugu always compares himself to Abraham. The only thing he is more confident about, in comparison to his father, is that he is sure that Kanika was far more happier with him than she ever was with his father.

History: Juugu's early life was quiet and quite ordinary - the Outlands were an isolated pride that kept to themselves, and therefore experienced little to no contact with other lion prides. Juugu was next in line to succeed Abraham, and he did what he could to make himself favorable amongst all his many other siblings. The scars on his face were a result from an almost failed hunt that had gone screwy, but ended up working out in the end. This immediately earned Juugu status within the pride, and earned favorable earnings from his father.

It was when Kanika showed up to the pride that things changed. Juugu's mother had passed, and Abraham, old enough, was still looking for a mate. Kanika had been traveling with some rogue lions prior to, and the only reason she had been spared was because of her dark pelt and heritage to Thema. Juugu saw that Kanika had caught Abraham's eye quickly, and he tried to make himself feel not as disgusted because he, too, also became attracted to Kanika. Abraham made Kanika his new mate, and they produced many cubs before Abraham's death. Now named successor, Juugu at once took Kanika as his mate, and together they bore many cubs.

Though Uzoma was Juugu's cub with Kanika, he was not to be made leader - it was Viserys, Abraham's son with Kanika, that was to succeed as leader. Though Juugu was unhappy with the choice, Kanika convinced him to allow it to be so, and should anything happen to Viserys then Uzoma could take over as leader. At this time, the Outland pride also saw itself become an ally and friend to the Prideland pride, thanks to Kanika's sister, Uru, being the leader. Juugu found himself admiring Kanika so much in the moment.

Juugu was a witness to the war between the Outland and the Riverland prides, but as he was getting on in years, he was forced to stay much out of the fight, and when Kanika passed of old age, Juugu found himself having little motivation to wanting to do much more for the pride. After all, Uzoma was able to finally become leader, and he had had his own cubs, what other purpose did Juugu serve to the pride?

A long-time tradition in the pride was that the males were to die alone, so Juugu left the pride one day, and never returned.
