Personality: Mashika is a typical older sister type: she cares deeply for her sister, and values family and friends over everything else. Even though she can get in arguments with her younger sister, but for the most part, they get along. She has a very quiet attitude, not really saying much, but speaking when she feels she needs to. She loves to play and run around, full of energy and ready for anything that comes her way. She can often be serious, acting as a leader to Samina. She is mature, and always up to help out her parents with anything. Though she can seem a little demanding and immature at times, she's generally a nice lioness.

History: Mashika was born three months before her sister was. It was during this time that Vania, the prince, was lost in the jungle. She helped to try and find him, but it didn't work. Later, when her sister was born, she adored her, and vowed to protect her. As her sister grew up, she tried to give her a good influence in life. She did hang around them, but mainly Hira, who was more her age. As time went on, she grew, along with her sister. They did have a few arguments, but otherwise, it was fine. As teenagers, a new lion came to the Pridelands, a male named Kamari who soon became her mate when she got older. But, Zira's curse began to get worse. Finding food for her family was hard, and Mashika did her best to help out her parents in providing for the pride, but it was no use. Kamari was given the orders to follow Naboka, a male lion like his shadow, and she was constantly worried for him. He was always on her mind, no matter what she was doing. After confiding in her sister, she was given the advice to talk to him about their feelings. When he returned, she was overjoyed, and after talking, they became mates, now knowing they were in love.

Then, a war came, one that was hard to win. After being trained to fight for so long, Mashika was ready to put her skills to the test. She fought long and hard in the war beside Hira, always making sure her friend was safe during this. Then, suddenly, the war ended, with Samina appearing from the gorge where the river was. Apparently, her sister had killed Alaka, the leader of the enemy pride. She was proud of her sister, and now that the war was over, everything was at peace. Even though the pride had lost Nala and Kiara, they now had new rulers, and everything seemed perfect again.
