Description
Strider is a black Mustang stallion and Spirit's father, he appears in book 3 of "Spirit of the West". He lived in a herd with the leader Cedar, when Esperanza joined the herd he soon had a crush on her and got into fights with Cedar and feared he would be kicked out the herd.
When a storm hit he and Esperanza got split up from the herd but instead of looking for the herd they went to find their own land and they formed the Cimarron herd and soon Esperanza was expecting Spirit.

^^ actually that horse was grey, and if it was strider, he would have
been in either the very back of the herd or the very front of the
herd. and would have appeared at the end of the movie or the beginning
of the movie. |
