Name Meaning: the name of a rare breed of sledding dog, as well as a tribe of Native Americans - maybe that was how Aleu heard the name when she was still in Nome

Other Distinct Markings: Light white-tan markings around eyes and side of his muzzle, down his chest, underbelly and tail; also marks halfway down the legs

Eyes: Forest Green surrounded in gold

Breed: Wolfdog [mostly wolf, but part Siberian Husky]

Mother: Aleu [1/4 wolf, 3/4 dog]

Father: Niju [purebred wolf]

Clan Alliance: Nava's former Clan, the Kawa

Relation to Balto: Aleu and Niju's second pup in their first litter; sibling to Orca [older brother], Baltine and Nessy [older sisters]

Basic Information:

Not much is known about Chinook yet. He was born with his siblings - Baltine, Nessy and Orca - in a cavern a couple of years after Aleu joined the world of the wolves as the Alpha of the Kawa Clan and less than a year after Aniu's blessing of her union with the once-rebel wolf Niju.

Aleu chose to call him "Chinook" only because she remembered hearing it when she was younger and still living with her father back in Nome. He and his family are members of the Kawa Clan, his parents being the Alpha pair. Chinook strongly resembles his mother in looks, but unlike her, he is known to be quite shy and very much an intervert due to others teasing him for things he sees in dreams.
