Very well, it seems you have your beliefs, and I have mine. We can debate all we want, but shall come to no point of agreement. There is no reason to continue, unless I want to go on forever and ever trying to hammer my beliefs into your head, and you to do the same. After all that is the essence of a debate. And if I have to go with the general idea of this thread, then my "daemon" is a shoggoth.

Just because a post is well thought out doesn't make it flamebait, kiddies.

If you by well thought-out mean that it's based on absolutely no solid material to back up the claim, stereotypical and incorrect interpretations and making sweeping generalizations (I am certain you are fairly acquainted to how we deal with at least one these), then I beg to differ. Regardless, back on-topic.

Online forums never really get interesting until an opposing perception is presented. Something that I think this site has yet to understand.

I have been away for a couple days so I haven't been able to see this. Regardless I am offended by this even if you meant no offense I take this offensively regardless. My belief in my daemon is deeply personal and I am glad to actually have a sense of peace whenever I think about it. I have already reported this and I hope you will actually think about what comes out of your mouth before you say it. You claim to be a logical person so wouldn't a logical person consider the consequences of making accusations without founding them in truth. I am not a schizophrenic nor have I ever been. I find your logic for this post fallible and shoddy. A complete disregard of other peoples feelings and beliefs. So much for being logical.

Yes, an opposite viewpoint was presented and it would be quiet acceptable if this topic asked wether or not you believed in deamons. However, this topic is not asking if you believe or not, it's asking what you think your deamon is, it's name, ect. This is not meant to be a debate topic.

It has turned into a very good debate topic, and I think maybe discussing whether or not you believe in daemons should be put in another topic, but it would be an interesting topic in my opinion. I do feel slightly offended by what Cone has said, I do in a way love my daemon because he is a part of me (I think he is the better part of me) and that would mean that he is directly saying that a part of me isn't real, so I can see why people would be offended, I am. I am not sure how you would call having a voice in your head schizophrenic, all that means is you have a split personality, not a voice in your head that sometimes agrees with you and sometimes tells you off, it is not you acting that way. Anyway back to topic now I think, I just had to get that off my chest.

Wow, I'm glad I forgot about this thread.
Are they real? Who knows. It's not my job to proselytize and if you want to find out more about daemons, wonderful. I can give you the tools to do research and judge for yourself. If you don't believe in it, that's fine too. But I don't appreciate being told I'm mentally unstable because of it.

Well, I wonder what the world would be like if our daemons were a physical entity that existed on the outside of our bodies?
