kimba vs simba
who's the true king?
kimba : who's the real king of the jungle? some say kimba, some say simba. some say disney copied, some say disney got inspiration. its time to settle this big mystery!
lets go over the facts shall we?
kimba ws created in 1966
lion king in 1994
(clearly kimba was made first)
kimba's mothe and father die in the series
simba's dad dies
(hmm...kinda of the same, but both kimba's parants die instead of one)
stampede in kimba
stampede in lion king
( looks like we got another similarity)
father appears in the sky in kimba
(sound familliar?)
kimba becomes a herbivore so he cant eat his friends (didnt simba do the same thing?)
the next thing im about to say might shock most of you : simba was WHITE in his originak character design!!!
so whos the real king? you decide....

well kimba isn't even his real name. so tlk didn't copy that. his name
is Leo but fans liked the name simba and thought that kimba would be
cute for leo. I've heard of and seen previews of "kimba", but I've
never actually seen the movie. Heck I wasn't even alive when the
movie came out. but... kimba is the original so I just going to go
with Kimba i m b a (aka leo) |

Ok so every body needs a lesson, I'm pretty sure I read on some site
that TLK was based on a book called King of the jungle and it does
have something to do with Hamlet. The king of the jungle was based on
Hamlet [no idea when that was writen] and then as you know The lion
king was Based on The king of the jungle, but I don't know what Kimba
the white lion was Based on [probably The king of the jungle]. |

simba was white!? simba never became a herbivore so that he could not
eat his friends. but i think that The Lion King copied off of Kimba. I
saw all of kimbas episodes. My favorite character is Kitty! I think
thats her name. |

Go to you tube and look up Kimba see the first episode it rocks. This
doesn't mean I don't like The Lion King. It's cool too but I think
some of these Simba people should watch Kimba. |

Kimba doesn't have a meaning in african, but simba does, which
means lion. So that's a difference. Also, one was anime version in1980's but the other wasn't. One was a tv series, and the other doesn't. sounds different doesn't it? But I still like Kimba Just Like Simba. Good article though! |

don't forget: Kimba's evil uncle Claw...had a missing eye, supposedly the same eye Scar has the scar over...plus they had the same colouring. And, when Simba is uncoloured, he is almost identical to Kimba... there are also several scenes which match up almost identically with The Lion King. and one final piece of trivia: before TLK was released, Roy Disney (if you don't know who he is you should be shot) said in an interview about mothers: ' Wait until you see next summer's "The Lion King," and Kimba's mother. She's quite lovely.' there are other points of similarity, but the name cannot be used as a point, as Tezuka took the name from the spanish word for lion, and changed one letter. TLK didn't change that letter, so it stayed as simba...apparently... |

it's most likely that lion king was partly copied from kimba. i don't know if any of you know this but disney were the ones that teamed up with the makers of kimba for colouring and stuff. then they started on simba. disney stopped the release of kimba the white lion (apparently) to make and release simba then kimba apparently came out not long after. if this is true then lion king must be a copy. also in kimba there is a one eyed black maned lion, a baboon, a girl and boy lion (everyone should know who these two are), a warthog, a meerkat (or two), hyenas and an evil aunt who tries to kill kimba. have a look at this page http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/y-asada/leo2.html sorry for going on and sounding like a know-it-all but i was just trying to show what i think! |

king kong was remade so was superman, aeon flux,and alot more so
