This will probably the last update on the site for this year, since I won't be able to update from home. So as a present, I added this wallpaper I "made" :

As you may have noticed, I've added a small box at the top, which contains the last message of the shout box; I've also added the number of visitors connected on the site. By this system, it's now easier to chat in that shout box. Balto Source has won an award : the "Best 2004 Balto Site" from Wolf Fang! Some of you may already know about it, because you voted for my site ;) Here it is :

No no, not 3 but 2...I've finally translated my Balto 2 review into english. That was the last page I hadn't translated manually, so the site is now 100% translated in english! By the way, I know it won't interest much people here, but Balto 3 comes out today in France! Talking about it, I've found on a site this much beautiful background which, according to me, isn't in the film (I'm talking about the third, of course) :

I've added ten screenshots of Balto 3, and a short music clip which is the music theme of Balto 3.

I've made changes in the Balto 3 section : as the information page on Balto 3 is now outdated, I've moved it to an "Old" section. I've added a small info page instead presenting the film without any major spoilers, and a DVD info page containing information about the region issues for everyone who can't want and want to import it. I've added a Multimedia section for Balto 3 Wings of Change, with 10 screenshots in high quality, and a 1 min mp3 of the introduction music. I still recommend that you don't go there if you haven't still seen the film, but I know nobody will resists :)

Finally, there's a release date for the USA (which is probably what most of you were waiting for). Balto 3 : Wings of Change will be released on February 1st, 2005, probably in all the America. At least two countries will have B3 released today : Spain (Balto : Rescate del Avión Perdido) and Portugal(Nas Asas do Destino). As for Italia, it seems it has been delayed to October 20th on several stores (the release date was planned to be for today). But a good news is that Universal will release a Balto Collection pack in Italia, with the 3 DVDs, on November 24th. So there's a high probability they will do the same in other countries.

Balto 3 will be released today in Germany, under the title Balto - Sein größtes Abenteuer (His Biggest Adventure). As I said in the previous news, I would like that you don't reveal anything about the movie, no spoilers on my site please (except for the ones I put in the special section *spoilers*, of course... :p )
If there are some italian visitors here, they might be interested to know that Balto 3 will be shown in national premiere on October 11 in the UCI Cinemas Marconi in Roma (I'm not sure if it will only be for journalists, though)

I wanted to make a little news to let everyone know that Balto 3 is released in the first country to have it, the Netherlands (it may also come out the same day in Belgium, to be confirmed), the title is : Balto 3 - Avontuur met vleugels. I would like that people who have seen it, do not reveal *spoilers* on the scenario anywhere on my site, at least until it's out in France as well...But I allow you to give your impressions on it. The next country where it will be released is now Germany (october 7th)
I also changed the poll, for a question about your opinion on the "cheapquels" for Balto.

First, I would like to tell you that I've come back to school (or more precisely university), so I will probably update the site less often. I'll do what I can to keep it up-to-date, though.

First, I have changed the poll once again. I haven't put any fan art this time, I'll wait to have more to make an update to the fan section.

(or Click to go directly to the right page) Warning, DON'T watch it if you don't want to be spoiled, as it contains HEAVY SPOILERS! (The only thing I will say is : Wow!!!)

You will probably be pleased to know that within 5 days, I received fan art from nearly everybody who previously sent some! (this includes : Greykitty, Desert Eagle, Pample, Chevalfou Mgx, Jennawolf, Baltolover99, Wolf_250, Wolfpup) Thank you everyone! Here are some of the best art I've received (they were all nice drawings, but these are truly awesome!)

I don't know if everyone thought that it missed some fan art here, but I received a LOT of fan art these last three days! I can't show you them all in this news, so I suggest you go to the Fan section to see all this! The artists who sent me some are : Desert Eagle, Baltolover99, Wolf_250, Wolfpup and Jennawolf.
Then, I've added another *spoilers* summary in the B3 section. It comes from Amazon.de, so we know that at least one big site is selling B3.

I've added 20 screens in the B2 gallery, a wallpaper made by Wolf_250, and I've changed the poll again. I also added a fanfic (the first!) on the site : Maggie, by Tondalover; I corrected a few bugs on the site, and I also translated many pages, including : the comparative between the film and the true story, the music page on B1, and the screens page of B2.

Italy seems to be the first country where Balto 3 will be released, another store (here) list it in its catalog, on October 13, 2004. Moreover, according to this site, the DVD will be double-layered, so we can guess there will be more bonuses than in Wolf quest.

Moreover, I've completed the information on Balto with the entry numbers made by the film on its release in theaters. By the way, I didn't know that Universal re-released the film in some theaters in France last year, and did the same for Land Before Time 1 two years ago : a good move from Universal!

Everything is in the title, this site is now open to everyone. It is still not complete, I have not translated everything so I used automatic translations for many parts. It is only temporary though, as I will progressively translate everything myself.
