Hey, Razor here, just checking the place out.   If you're wondering, I picked the name Razor because I'm psyched about the upcoming SWAT Kats reboot.   I loved the show as a kid, especially Razor (obviously).

I hope the reboot sticks with the things the original show and doesn't try to change it too much.   I especially liked the character dynamics between the Swat Kats (aka Jake and Chance) and Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs.   Having her be friends with them in both their civilian and hero identities without knowing they were the same guys was creative; maybe I'll write a sotry about it sometime.   Also, she and Razor/Jake should definitely have ended up together.

I guess I was just lucky enough to see it first. But I've never seen or heard of that show...either on the internet nor on any television channel anywhere I ever lived. Never even once.

Ahh there you are. I was wondering if I knew a Jake Razor or not and realized you changed your name. I remember Swat Kats Lol. Good show. A little too dark for my tastes back then, but it was still a good one.

He's only recently moved there. lol Nothing against him (at all), but I have known several life-long Alaskans, rather than "cheechakos" (which is what people who are born and raised in Alaska call those who visit or move there from elsewhere). But you asked if it is "as rough as they say". Firstly, who are "they"? And if "they" are, indeed, cheechakos, then they know nothing. Just FYI. And just trying to help and to offer another point of view.

Alaska isn't all that bad...except in the remotest locations, or up in Barrow (above the Arctic Circle). Don't believe a lot of that hype on the Alaska tv shows, which they play up for entertainment value.
