This one requires a bit of personal background to understand, so bear with me.
Yesterday my boss told the girl she was leaving in charge not to let me "milk the clock," which is sort of a joke about my tendency to take a long time with some of my tasks (which, for the record, I do to be thorough, and she knows it quite well). For those who don't know, since someone asked about this last night, "milk the clock" is an expression that means taking one's dear sweet time in order to get more time on the clock and thus more money in one's paycheck, and doing it is a good way to get fired.
Later that same girl was changing one of the containers in the coffee creamer dispenser, and something pulled loose. The result was a veritable waterfall of coffee creamer that covered a good bit of the counter and floor and took about half an hour to resolve and clean up after. So you tell me, who "milked the clock" that time?
I will never be able to hear that phrase again without smirking.

Okay...does anyone remember the classic Saturday Night Live sketch, starring Chris Farley and Mike Myers, which spoofed Japanese game shows? LOL It was hilarious, right? A reminder, especially for those who never saw it:
Then I literally stumbled upon this...insane bit of bizareness on YouTube, and it immediately made me think of the SNL sketch...because it's quite typical, apparently, of far eastern game shows/entertainment. ROFLMAO (Is it rather disturbing, incidentally, that the video below is actually more bizarre and, as a result, even funnier than the great SNL sketch linked above??? )

The first video is awesome XD I didn't finish the second video, but I'll come back to it later. But it's funny! lol
Funny, and quite bizarre. lol
You know though...in the SNL video, they're actually speaking real Japanese. Someone on Lorne Michael's sketch-writing team did their homework and then some! XD

Courtesy of a find by Gojira:
[10/2/13 6:24:07 AM] Shadow Chaosbringer: A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. "Amazing," he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mp h, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this," and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival. Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go." The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a State trooper. I thought you were bringing her back."
