Why do blank renders get coloured in with offical?

Question :

Why is it blank renders tend to get coloured in with the offical characters?
Like, I see loads of blank renders of- say Scar- being colored in just as Scar. Sometimes, there's no change in backgrounds or anything...

What's the point of that?

P.S. Below is a rough example that I did, so you can see what I mean :3

Because the members are too lazy, and apparently people refuse to make graphics or something. I hate this myself, renders are not graphics.

As I've said, that's pure lazyness (I would personally report this for the lack of effort). I'm sure they do that because they don't care about the official characters. They do that because they want to send in renders of their characters; from my point of view.

well when you color in a coloring book that has official characters in it you color them in in the official characters colors sometimes right?
