Interprétée par Lena Hall, la chanson The Magic Inside a été écrite par Amy Keating Rogers et Daniel Ingram, qui l'a composé avec l'aide de Trevor Hoffman et Caleb Chan.

La chanson avait été promue avant sa sortie par Lena Hall qui avait posté sur son twitter un bref extrait de sa session d'enregistrement le 2 décembre 2014. L'animatic de la scène avait également été présentée au San Diego Comic-Con de 2015.

Cette chanson serait un hommage aux versions accoustiques des chansons de Lady Gaga.

Ingram avait visualisé la musique jouée par un orchestre complet mais principalement concentré sur du piano et des cordes rares.

La chanson a été récompensée par un Daytime Emmy Award pour la mention "Outstanding Original Song" (= chanson originale exceptionnelle).
