Personality: Athos is a bit more on the quiet and serious side, who unlike his twin brother prefers to lay down on a cozy bed in front of a fireplace over seeking adventures and causing trouble. He does however enjoy the great outdoors, and sitting at a camp fire with his owner during their hunting trips. Athos is very smart and a bit of an intellect, who enjoys deep conversations and taking long walks on his own. He is brave and always ready to risk his life for his family and his owner, and always puts their well being ahead of his own.

Likes: His family and owner, Luna, his pups, outdoors, sitting at camp fires, taking walks.

Dislikes: Bears, seeing anyone he cares about hurt or upset, rain and thunder.

Story: Athos was born in the second litter of Jean-Claude and Saba, with an older twin brother Porthos and a younger brother Aramis. As a pup, Athos and Porthos often got into trouble which their father had to save them from, but then he was adopted by a local hunter, who started training him from a young age. As he grew, Athos became much more mature and responsible, and he had become an extremely faithful companion. On one faithful day, him and his master were preparing for another, completely normal hunting trip, but as they were setting their camp, they were ambushed by a huge grizzly bear. Athos defended his owner with his life, but the bear severely wounded him and killed the hunter. Since he was too badly wounded to fight, Athos had no chance but to flee. He ran, until his legs finally gave up, he collapsed in the snow and everything went black. The next time he opened his eyes, Athos found himself in an igloo, wrapped in a warm blanket and a bangade wrapped around his lower back; An elderly Inuit man had found him and treated his wounds. He was starteled at first, but once he saw that the man had good intensions, he relaxed, and accepted the food he offered him. With the death of his owner still fresh in his mind, Athos was depressed, and his recovery took a good while, but the man was patient, and gave him space. In time his injuries healed and he regained his strength, but Athos missed his family, and realized that they must be worried sick about him. So one night, he snug away and set out to find his way back home. After running for a while, Athos stopped, and realized he was completely lost. He walked aimlessly, until he heard someone grunting from a distance. Athos followed the noises and found a female wolf, who had gotten her leg caught in a trap. He approached her, offering to help, but she immidietally snarled at him, ordering him to leave her alone. Naturally, Athos couldn't turn his back on a damsel in distress, so he made an offer to her: he'd release her from the trap, and in return she'd help him find his way back to Nome. She reluctantly accepted, Athos set her free and they introduced each other. The wolf, named Luna, started leading the way, and during their journey, not only did the two get to know each other better, Athos also realized that he enjoyed Luna's company, and exploring the vast wilderness with her. They were one day attacked by the same bear that killed Athos's owner and gave him his scars, and they escaped by jumping into a river. Luna hit her head against a large rock, and went under water, Athos dived after her, brought her back to the surface and got them both out of the river. He dragged her to dry land, and laid closely beside her to keep her warm, and as she awoke, Luna was most grateful to him for saving her life. As they finally reached the outskirts of Nome, they realized they were in love, and Athos asked Luna to come and live with him, but sadly, she had to refuse, and she explained to him that her place was in the wild, and his place was with his family. They went on their separate ways, Athos was welcomed by his family who were all relieved to have him home safe and sound, he was happy to see them but at the same time he was heartbroken. After his return, Athos found he couldn't stop thinking about Luna, he longed to be with her, but he also didn't want to leave his family. Jean-Claude saw how sad his son was, and assured him that he and Saba wanted nothing more than for him to be happy, so, after they had a heart to heart talk, Athos decided to go live with Luna in the wild, they became mates and settled into the woods near Nome, since Athos still wanted to remain close to his family, which Luna understood, and was completely fine with it. It wasn't long when Luna told him she was excpecting pups, and this both made Athos extremely happy, but also freaked him out. He was extremely nervous about his future role and had no idea how to be a father, but when Luna finally gave birth to five beautiful and healthy pups, Athos immidietally loved them with all his heart and swore he would do anything for them and protect them with his life.
