Good traits: Iron can be a very sweet guy, depending on the subject that's brought up with him. If you like his father, he'll like you. He can be caring, considerate, and passionate. He was also raised correctly when he was younger, and definitely did have potential signs of being a very good boy. In a pretty good mood most of the time.
Bad traits: Iron eventually turned rotten as he got older. He picked up on his father's nasty habits as he hung out with him more. Iron gets very controlling, manipulative, and can snap very easily. He has a bad temper, and can act childish. It's his way, or no way at all, pretty much. He can get moody if on certain subjects and can be over-sensitive.

Backstory

Iron was born to Jenna's first litter with Steele, along with his five other siblings. Steele had originally planned on having a family with Jenna, but that was before he became a famous sled dog. As he had gotten more glory and flirty females, Steele didn't care about Jenna and his pups and had just moved on. Unlike some of the other pups, Iron had always respected his father. He grew up trying to reach out to his father, only to have his attempts pushed aside. When adoption time came, Iron was purchased by a musher.

Once Steele came back to Nome, Iron had settled in on the life of sledding relatively fast. He had wanted to be just like his father and try to grasp his attention. Iron was placed on a Chow Chow team, but he fit in nicely due to his size. For a few practice runs, Iron would deliever mail between White Mountain and Nome.

Eventually reaching the adult age in early 1925, Iron's team had done well and finally gotten some credit; the prize being up against Steele. Seeing as this was his chance to impress his father, he had intentions on winning with his team. Though he was just a wheeldog, so he had only hoped. The two teams raced a fair race til they closed in on a small valley; where Steele had bitten at one of the swing dog's feet, causing him to trip and fall. The team had eventually lost balance and had a sled accident, Steele's team rushing ahead. Iron's ego had been bruised greatly by this; he thought he could impress his father, but it didn't work. As the team returned to Nome at sunset, Iron had slinked home and hoped to have a chance to talk to his father.

A while later on, Steele reaches out to Iron and apologizes for the race incident. Iron immediately forgives him and the two spend time with each other. Steele had started to try to reach out to all of his children, but only some of them would talk to him. In the meantime, Iron had met his biological family on Steele's side, who were quite happy to meet him. Iron had accepted this family over most of his siblings, who he pushed aside; other than Scarlett. Scarlett, however, stayed away from Steele's side of the family, much to Iron's dismay. Though when a sudden tragedy had striken Nome with diptheria, Steele had been chosen to run in the race with other dogs to see who was the fastest. Iron hadn't been chosen, so he stayed in the sidelines. Watching his father lose to the town outcast wolfdog, Balto, was an embarrassment. Iron had disliked the halfbreed before due to his wolf blood, but now he had a boiling hatred for him.

Steele had been chosen to go on the serum run; the halfbreed had "bit" at the humans, and he was deemed untrustworthy. Iron didn't want his father to go, but he let him and trusted him. Iron had awaited anxiously at the boiler room for a few days, along with members of his team and other dogs. Hearing that Steele and his team had gone missing, Iron couldn't believe it. He left the boiler room and fled to the outskirts of Nome. He collapsed in the thick snow, the blizzard covering his fur. He laid there, crying and hopeless. This was the last thing he wanted. As he laid in the snow for about an hour, memories had reoccured to him, voices now shouting in his head at him. These voices hadn't gone away at all, and he heard running noises nearby. Always perking his head up to look and check, there was nothing. The voices had been shouting nonstop and his head was pounding. The snow had sinken into him as well. Shivering a bit, Iron had drifted off to sleep.

Waking up the next morning was difficult. He got out of the snow which had buried him and he shook himself off. Though what scared him the most, small voices had very quietly been chanting inside his head. Though they easily had been ignored.

Steele had returned without his team, but either way, Iron was overjoyed to be with his father. Though something was different about Steele. He had seemed facinated on talking about himself to other dogs, and had totally shoved his son away. Jenna had told Iron she was leaving to go find the team and Balto, who had apparently tagged along. Iron didn't mind, and figured the team and the wolfdog had died. So he just stayed behind in the boiler room with his father. When Jenna had returned home with Balto's "friends", Iron was very annoyed by now and angered, thinking that this hybrid would take the team and return home with them instead of his father doing that. But soon enough, it had happened. The wolfdog had returned with the team, musher, and medicine. Steele was immediately hated by other dogs, but Iron stayed loyal to him.
