Pixar's next film, Inside Out, has been in the works for a long time. And now, a mere 8 months before its theatrical release, Pixar has released its first teaser trailer!

The teaser mixes together emotions we have seen in all previous Pixar films, before giving us some clips from Inside Out. Keep in mind, since this IS a teaser trailer from Pixar, none of these clips will likely be seen in the final film. This is just to introduce you to the characters.

I just want to inform everyone about the small update on the site. Music player now has a full score from the original movie plus a live version of Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel. Some sources inform that BBC is developing an animated series based on Watership Down novel. It's said that it's going to be aired in familly-friendly timeslot on BBC One. More info, such as actual release date has yet to be confirmed.

Watership Down has already been adapted to 39 episode-long series running from 1999 to 2001 featuring stars form the original movie. New adaptation after so many years sounds really promising!

In Walt Disney World (the one in Florida), there exists a theme park called Epcot, which exists to celebrate the world and all its cultures. Today, Disney officially announced (after months of speculation) that the Norway pavillion in Epcot will soon have a new Frozen-themed attraction - fitting enough, since Frozen is based in Norway.

This marks the first time that Disney has confirmed a permanent Frozen-themed attraction. All others so far (meet-and-greets and parades) are temporary, or at the very most, indefinite. This is here to stay, as long as Epcot exists.

This is just a small piece of news, but Fox announced last week that How to Train Your Dragon 3 has a new release date for the United States. Instead of June 17, 2016, the release date has been pushed back a full year, to June 9, 2017.

We'll keep you updated with new news, and hopefully HTTYD Source will start looking more cleaned up in the weeks and months ahead.

The new full-length 2D animated movie from veteran Disney and DreamWorks animators has been funded!

Hullabaloo, the steampunk animated superhero story is the brainchild of creator James Lopez (The Lion King, The Emperor’s New Groove) and a veteran team of animators, modelers, composers and voice actors. Lopez is a Disney veteran who has also served stints at Warner Bros. and DreamWorks, so he definitely has the credintials.

It's finally happened. It took almost 10 months, but Frozen has finally ended its theatrical run. This means that there is now no theater in the world that is showing Frozen as part of its theatrical release (some may still show it for special occasions, but that doesn't factor into its final gross).

The film performed best in the United States, where it ended up with a gross of over $400 million. Hello Watership Down fans!

Many of you might not know that 1978 movie Watership Down had its own merchandise too. The items are not very well known and are now extremely rare to get. The collection includes figurines, plushies and many more! You can see it now in this section!

Did you miss the Sing-Along version of Frozen in theaters? Now's your chance to own it on DVD and Blu-ray!

This version of the film is exactly the same as the normal one, except whenever there are songs, the bottom of the screen lights up with words. As the characters sing the words, the words light up and give you the chance to sing along at home. Since Frozen is full of songs, there are PLENTY of songs for you to sing along to!

Pre-orders are being taken for now (click this link for more information), and the movie ships out in November.

I have compiled as many deleted scenes as I can find and put them on this new section of Frozen Source. If there are scenes I've missed, let me know (either through PM or in the comments) and I will add them immediately.

First of all, here is some "real-world" Frozen news for you. The biggest thing is that a preview for Once Upon a Time's Season 4 premiere was shown at Comic-Con this past weekend, which showcased a teaser of Anna and Elsa's involvement in the show. There's barely enough to cover here, so this should be short. First of all, Box Office Mojo announced release dates for several new Fox animated films. Several sequels have been announced, but the soonest releases are all original films: Underdogs in early 2015, Boss Baby in 2016, Captain Underpants in 2017, and Larrakins in 2018. The sequels to be released are The Croods 2 in 2017, Madagascar 4 in 2018, and Puss in Boots 2: 9 Lives and 40 Thieves in late 2018. Remember, these release dates are tentative and may change.

Today Entertainment has revelealed more information about Frozen's inclusion in the ABC series Once Upon a Time. Among other information, they revealed, most importantly, that casting is underway for the permanent role of Elsa, as well as two newcomers who will join her: Anna and Kristoff.

The producers of the show are open to Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Jonathan Groff (who played Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff in the film, respectively) reprising their roles for the show. Over on twitter, IDW Robbie (One of the people behind the IDW comics, which publish the official mlp comics) has been teasing a new my little pony and transformers comic. Below is a picture, which was captioned "#mylittlepony #transformers what do you all think?"

There is nothing up on the IDW's official website, so this is still all up for speculation. There has been very little info on this, but it was posted by the co-founer of the company, so we'll just have to see!

A lot of people here like making characters who are pups of Aleu and Niju, Kodi and Dusty etc. Those pairings are NOT canon. It is possible but it must be explained somehow how the two became mates/had pups (either with an explanation in the bio or link to a fanfiction). Non explained pairing kids will be seen as AU and will not be allowed.

You can ship whoever you want, but following the "DO NOT change the events that happened in an explicit way in the movies" as written in the rules, instead of writing "he's the son of Jenna and Kaltag" like it was something obvious, just include a [...]

Walt Disney Records just announced The Legacy Collection, a new line that will celebrate the anniversaries of Disney classics, including The Lion King. The two-disc set will feature the original soundtrack, 30 minutes of unreleased score, and liner notes from the producer, Don Hahn, and Academy Award-winning composer, Hans Zimmer.
The Lion King has its 20th anniversasy on June 24, 2014. Here's a preview of said sountrack's cover:

Hey guys! There's been some confusion about what's canon and what's not, and what's allowed on the site. This is just a reminder:

The IDW comics ARE canon. Anything that happens in them or is stated in them is canon, unless it is over ruled by the show. In which case, you go by the shows canon.

As for what ifs: They are allowed as contests, images, drawings, etc. The only restriction is you can NOT have characters based around what ifs.

I hope that clears up any confusion. If there is still however, leave a question in the comments.

Disney has released the first trailer for their next animated film, Big Hero 6. The film is based off the lesser-known Marvel characters and will release worldwide this November. Disney's previous animated film was, of course, Frozen.

According to MTV, Frozen is getting an Ice Show. If you know anything about hit musicals, they oftentimes get ice shows that travel the world - sort of an alternative to Broadway. This is the first time in history that a movie actually centered around ice (which is solid snow) is being adapted into an actual ice show.

Doesn't ring a bell? Have you heard of "Shrek On Ice?" Or how about "Toy Story On Ice?" That might help.

The tour begins this September, and for now will be limited to just the major cities in the United States.

After a month of no updates, we finally have stuff to talk about. This weekend, Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return arrived in about 2,500 theaters in North America. Unfortunately, it only gathered about $3.7 million over the weekend. For a release that wide, it's among the worst openings ever. In fact, it's the 7th-worst for any film that opened over 2,500 theaters. At this point, this film will be lucky to end its run over $10 million, which would make it an all-out box office flop against a budget of $70 million. (The 15% rating on RottenTomatoes.com doesn't help.)

I've made a character species reminder on TLKS lately, but I feel there's a need for one on this source. Brother Bear is a special movie that takes place in prehostoric times, which means not all character species will be allowed here. Same as we don't allow extinct species on other sources, typical, modern breeds are not allowed on Brother Bear souce.

- Brown Bear

Rio 2 was released in American theaters this weekend and managed to top Captain America: The Winter Soldier on Friday. But it was not to last, and ultimately, it ended the weekend about $2 million short of 1st Place. Altogether, it managed a solid $39 million from its opening weekend. That's almost identical to its predecessor, which racked up $39.2 million. Considering it had solid competition this itme around, that makes its intake even more impressive. The MPAA has revealed its rating for How to Train Your Dragon 2: PG for adventure action and some mild ride humor. This is virtually identical to the first film, which got a PG rating for sequences of intense action and some scary images, and brief mild language. This should indicate that the sequel is actually a tiny bit less intense than the original, but it will still contain plenty of fun. 

HTTYD 2 comes to theaters June 13. 

Well, ladies and gentlemen, Animation Source finally has a Source for the biggest animated film in history. That's right: FROZEN SOURCE IS HERE!

The Source was entirely created by Hecate, and I translated it into English. So if you want to thank anyone, thank her! Also of note, this is the first time in forever that a Source has opened on both the English and French sides at the same time!

It has been announced that Spirit will be available on Blu-Ray on May 13th.
However, this seems to be only for the US and UK, as the Blu-Ray is already out in Australia.

The highest-grossing animated film was Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which took in a respectable $9.5 million this weekend and placing 4th, behind holdovers Muppets Most Wanted and Divergent, and trailing behind 1st-place newcomer Noah. After spending a weekend at the top of the box office, Mr. Peabody and Sherman plummetted to 3rd Place, behind newcomers Divergent and Muppets Most Wanted. It took in about $11.7 million, which puts its total domestic gross to $81 million domestically and $183 million worldwide. As you may or may not yet know, we saw a big change on how the English side works today. We mods now activate characters instead of them being automatically uploaded. This used to be done a while back, but the amount of characters submitted each day rose to the hundreds, so it was changed to being done automatically.

It has been this way on the French side for a while and works well, so we hope you will get used to this small change.

First of all, my apologies for not posting this news last week. I was on Spring Break. But there wasn't much you missed, so let's just jump in to this weekend.

In its second weekend of release, Mr. Peabody and Sherman rose from 2nd to 1st Place, which made it the highest-grossing film at the United States box office this weekend. After having to deactivate some characters, we decided to post a small reminder about character species on TLKS.

* Extinct species (like Barbary or Cape lions) are not allowed.

* Tigers and cougars are not allowed. Please do a little reseach on your characters. Tigers live only in Asia and cougars inhabit only both Americas. Tigers, cougars and their hybrids are not allowed unless they are reasonably explained.

And a little reminder about realistic/unrealistic tag. Dark brown lions are allowed, but such colour don't occur in real lions and those characters [...]

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it has happened. Frozen has passed the $1 billion mark worldwide - ahead of expectations, and just in time for the Academy Awards.

This weekend, Frozen stayed in 8th Place at the domestic box office (and has now been in the Top 10 for the longest time for any movie since Avatar), and grossed around $3.6 million. Coming in at #1 for the second weekend in a row, The Lego Movie raked in an impressive $48 million at the domestic box office, ahead of newcomers RoboCop and About Last Night. The Motion Picture Association of America has granted Rio 2 a G rating for the United States. This is the first time a film has been rated G since last year's Monsters University, and to date, this is the only G-rated film this year.

It's worth noting that the first Rio originally received a PG rating (for mild peril), but was granted a G rating on appeal. Normally, studios prefer PG for their films, as an incentive for families to attend the showings instead of just parents with small children. However, it seems Fox isn't so interested in that right now.

A new poster, that was posted by J-14.com shows off Astrid, and her dragon Stormfly. Dreamworks is really putting into the detail for this movie! The movie is set 5 years ahead from the original HTTYD. Berk's new favourite sport is Dragon Racing. Hiccup and Toothless, go out to chart more territories, and the new world now with the ability of flight, they can go where no Viking has gone before!
